On April 2nd this company recieved a 32.60 Dollar payment from my checking account on a subscription account. Unknown to me the business had shut down due to COVID-19. I attempted to contact the manager at the location with no success. On April 4 2020 I went to the business to speak to the manager. A vehicle was there but no one came out of the establishment. I called and left a message.After about 15 minutes I started to leave and another vehicle was driving in. I stopped to speak to the people and I saw a person coming out of the dumpster area and getting into I car. I circled back to speak to him and another person got out of his vehicle to speak to him. I talked to the other person and he said that the Manager said that he would be in the next day. The day after I forgot my phone at home and was out. Upon arriving home I heard two messages from the company and a person named Jeremy. I attempted to call the number with no success. I then went by the business and the area was empty. On April 8th I left work and was driving on Main Street and saw a vehicle at the Champion XPress car wash. I pulled in with a desire to speak to the manager and ask for a refund of my payment since no services were being provided. I knocked on the door and no person came out. I even knocked on the bathroom door with no response. I waited about 10 minutes and an individual came out and was very irate. He said that in order to get anything done with the company that I would have to call. I explained that I did call and nothing had been resolved. I asked if he could go into his office and clear the issue up on his computer. The Manager whose name tag said Jeremy stated that he would not do that until I called.I explained that I had called several times and that nothing had been resolved. Jeremy then stated that there was nothing he could do. I then asked for his corporate number so I could speak to his superiors. Jeremy said that there is no corporate office and that he is in charge of the entire operation.
Following State and Local mandates in response to the COVID19 pandemic, our Champion Xpress Car Wash location in Los Lunas, New Mexico was closed from April 3rd to April 17th, 2020. We realize this closure was an inconvenience to many of our valued customers and we have worked hard to address these concerns.Specifically, we deeply regret the negative interaction between Mr. and our team member. This type of interaction does not reflect the values of our organization. We have taken the following steps to address the issue:Retrained team members in customer service, responding to concerned customers and escalating concerns through the organizationIssued Mr. a refund in the amount of $32.60 on April 8th, immediately following the incident with our team memberIssued a written apology from to Mr. (attached)We strive to ensure customer satisfaction in every interaction by providing high quality, detail oriented and friendly service. Our team takes great pride in maintaining professionalism, integrity and honesty on a daily basis.

I am rejecting this response because: The individual named Jeremy is still in employ of this company. I have read other complaints that are being levied upon him. His training or specifically h is retraining are not helping him or the company. He will continue to treat other customers rudely and unprofessionally.

I visited Champion Xpress today and paid $18 for the Grand Champion car wash, which includes
Presoak, Foam Soap, Drying Agent, Spot Free Rinse, Turbo Dry, Clear Coat Protectant, Triple Foam Wax, Wheel & Tire Cleaner, Total Body Protectant, Tire Shiner, Rust Inhibitor, Lava Wax and Hot Wax. I noticed on the dash board on the side that controls the washes that my car wash was set to the $7 Champion Choice car wash. I couldn't stop my car from going through the wash, so when the was was complete I spoke to a manager and told him I paid for the $18 car wash and my tires are not shinning and I paid for the $18 wash. His response to me was this location is having "mechanical errors and the mechanic won't be at the location until Monday to fix the issue." The manager offered to run my car again through the car wash for free, but stated my tires would look the same. When I asked why this wasn't posted or written down anywhere for me to see as a customer I did not get a response but I was offered a free wash on Tuesday after the issue was fixed. I told the manager this isn't right. I paid for a service & no one told me the service I paid for was unavailable. He apologized to me and refunded my money for the wash. He made it right for me, but it's wrong to not tell people that they're having mechanical errors and charge them for a $18 wash and give them a $7 wash. If I wasn't looking at the dashboard inside that programs the washes I would've missed the error & probably would have noticed it when I got home. If there are mechanical errors it needs to be posted where people pay, so they are not paying for a service that they are not receiving. It's not right.
