My solar panels are defectiveMy solar panels are not producing as much electricity as promised by this companyThis company promised me enough power generated for my entire house and two Tesla vehicles with my solar panels and that was not trueI then added more solar panels pursuant to the company's suggestion, the additional panels were useless and now overall the whole system produces even less powerBased on information or belief, it appears that half or more of the solar panels are not working at all or producing little to no powerI have tried to communicate with managers of the company and they have ignored all my emailsI want the owner of the company to replace all the solar panels and fix this issue or remove all my solar panels and refund my money

After doing research, I selected American Vision Windows to replace two sets of French doors opening out to a deck American Vision Windows uses Milgard products The order was placed in July 2017, the doors were installed in October On installation, the doors astragals were too short by 2" When questioned, the installer told me, "that's the way it's supposed to be"I knew better The grilles to create the window panes were not setting flush in the window they were cut too long, the handles had the wrong finish A follow up to these issues was scheduled for March of When the installer came out to fix the issues, the astragal was fixed, they still did not have the correct grilles, and they AGAIN sent the wrong handles They again reschedule to correct the issues in April of Between the months of March and April, we experience a rain storm The doors and leaking and are now warped I'm coming up on a year since I started this project, and the door area still looks like a new install I am extremely upset I would never recommend Milgard products or American Vision Windows With this feedback, I am hoping to spare someone else the disaster I am experiencing

American Vision Windows did not get approval from my HOA before helpling themselves to my debit card....taking $without my approval My experience with AVW has been a nightmare The company is very shady and you do not want to do business with them Now I have to hire an attorney to get my money back DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Never give this company yr credit card number, they use without yr approval

I carefully compared several factors from companies from price to SHG, UV penetration, reputation, warranty, and material only versus labor included price since we wanted to do our own installI had LOTS of questions for Chuck Williams, who really impressed usHis in home presentation was very thorough, and he patiently answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of them! It took us several weeks to decide but we were never pressured into a decisionWe chose American Vision because of overall quality, the amazing double lifetime guarantee, and the people we met who represent themNow that my windows are installed, I am over the top happy with them! They are very clear and bright to look out of, yet from the street they look gray and have a slight reflective look which offers us privacyI can leave my blinds open all day long now! And my house doesn't get hot any more in the August Arizona sun! No more cave dwelling for me! And I have a lower power bill to look forward to in my futureThank you Chuck, Bill and Kathleen! I love my windows!!! I will definitely come back when we are ready to do the rest of the house

Now that the check has cleared, I feel safe leaving this review for AVWI wouldn't put it past them to put a stop payment on the check if they felt they could get away with it In order to put the whole business behind me, I asked for a very low amount and they still undercut me with a disgusting counter-offer, and since I can't afford an attorney, I accepted it
I hired them to replace windows Window delivery was lateInstallation was horribleWe had multiple instances of rain dripping into our home due to the poor installationNumerous visits from inspection teams verified the massive gaps left behind by the initial install teamWe lost hours of sleep (wringing out towels and replacing pee pads), lost work hours to be home to meet inspectors, and even an overnight trip to visit our family over the holidays had to be canceled because of rain and leaky windows
Phone calls and emails to multiple project managers were ignored throughout this almost one year ordealAnd when I did finally reach someone, they were all quick to defend the last guy who dropped the ball"Oh, he's been on vacation," or "He's been out of the office." For as many times as I heard those excuses, it's amazing to me that this company gets any work done at all
I'm so disappointed not only in the shoddy work, but in the utterly negligent customer service from AVWI strongly advise you to stay away, unless you have a lawyer who really enjoys going after businesses who couldn't care less about integrity or accountability

Comments are limited to chars and this company and my experience with them can't possibly be covered by that limitation April AVW contracted for 6-week start date after remeasure for windowsShutter contract on 5-stated 4-weeks after remeasure Right now it is six months of problems with installation, repair work, and shutters now require another 3-week delay to install and/or to get the needed supplies (if they are to be believed.) Installer said they can't expedite this corrective action
So with the holidays upon us, the shutter doors (double patio doors) are propped up in my dining roomIt was that or let them try to move and store them, which would most likely result in damageFrom comments by the installer, I think the shutter frames will be presenting another problem on down the lineHe asked if I plan to remove my wallpaper (no) and AVW assured me the new shutter door frames would cover the same area my old shutters covered Installer asked if the old

The process with American Vision Windows went well from order to installation and finishAll contacts were professional and did their job and answered any questions we hadThe installer headed by Cory and a crew of about additional technicians went well and completed the same day
The product replaced windows and the upgrade from builder quality windows was definitely an upgradeInstructions provided were helpful at the end of the installationThe house was left orderly and almost as clean as before they beganTwo area of minor suggestions for future customersPr-installation instructions could have been a little clearer on what the installation crew could help with on clearing the working area needed inside the house, Also, cleanup, due to broken glass chads and vinyl chips was fairly presentable upon the crew's exit, but perhaps a shop vacuuming should have been offered before they left

We had windows and a front door are very happy with the outcome - largely due to Celso, the installerThe windows came in sooner than expected, which was niceOne day Celso worked alone, and the next days he was training new helpers Therefore installation took longer than we had been told, but the installation was done correctly I will have to mention separately that we bought a high end door, and Celso worked for days to get the installation just right We are VERY pleased with the door installation

AmericanVisionWindow told me they would sent the company employees who fully trained by AmericanVisionWindow to do the professional windows installation before signing contract; however they hired contractors did the job, not their employees did the job
Their contractor told us AmericanVisionWindow did wrong measurement for most windows and it’s hard to embed the original windows frame for this project, however AmericanVisionWindow didn’t recognize the truth
AmericanVisionWindow promised day windows installation for the whole project before signing the contract and actually spent daysAfter the first day job done, their contractor even forgot to install one window; the room was very cold when I came back to home at night in winter seasonHe told me he can’t come back and asked me to install it by myself after I call the contractor
90% big screws were exposed in the frame of these windows after the contractor finished his jobI talked to AmericanVisionWindow,

We had our double entry door installed in June Since then, we've noticed a significant draft coming from the doorI contacted American Vision Windows, and they sent someone out who put weather stripping between the two doorsUnfortunately, we continued to notice a significant draftUpon examining it closer, we realized there were several areas along the door frame where air/light was entering/escapingIn one corner of the door, an entire finger could be inserted up through the second finger jointI contacted AVW again to inform them of the issue, and I was told we'd have to wait over a month for a technician to come inspect itWe waited, and when a technician finally came, he said there were obvious drafts and he was recommending some work be doneHe told us we would be contacted by AVW to discuss the repair, so we waited...and waitedAfter at least a week without contact from AVW, I reached out to them via phone and email several times before finally getting a response

We hired American Vision Windows to replace all the windows in our home ($15K) During installation one of their technicians stepped into and fell through our laundry sink, which is at eye leve It broke in half and is no longer usable We asked that they take care of it within the company as we are busy, working professionals that do not have the time They stated they did not have in-house contractors and required us to find the contractors and submit bids to them for approval The bids indicated that it would take two contractors to demo, replace the sink and plumbing, and re-tile the area back to it's original state We spent many hours meeting with the contractors and getting the materials accurateWe both work and took off time to get this done When we submitted the bid ($1400), we were told that the bid was ridiculous and that they could do it for 1/the cost We told them to please do it then and why did they not do it to begin with They called us back within mi

We contracted with American Vision Windows of Simi Valley, CA for replacement windowsThe contract price was for $36,and we already paid $19,The job started on 8/10/and stopped on 9/12/Unresolved issues remain: (1) kitchen window ordered too large so they pared it down to try to fit, it still does not fit nor is it level, they promise to order a new , smaller replacement window for us(2) multiple non-functional window sashes, one definitely needs to be replace and the other is too hard to open and may be a fire safety issue, (3) one defected window pane by manufactuer Milgard; (4) window in master bedroom not level and one end is and 1/inches shorter than the other endAmerican Vision Windows threatened to put a lien on our house if we don't pay the full amountMy wife and I are afraid that if we do pay the full remaining price of $that they will not fix the remaining problems in a timely fashionThey already in an earlier E-mail threatened

American Vision Windows was selected to replace windows and sliding glass doors as part of an entire home remodelThe larger project began in September and was completed in mid-November
American Vision Windows began their work in September and did not complete their window installation until April
American Vision Windows visited my home times between August and April (August was the initial interview appointment), caused extensive damage, installed incorrect parts, cracked windows and left me with improper installation on numbers occasions
https://www.yelp.com/biz/american-vision-windows-sunnyvale-5?hrid=49i-NYsDzlxaO8... /> They are now requesting an additional payment of $and declining to warranty their workAmerican Vision Windows stated they will not provide the warranty until they receive an additional payment, however the agreemen

American Vision Windows replaced numerous (not all) windows in my houseI say not all, because now I am sorry that I did not use them for ALL of my windowsThe product is superior, the price is fair and the installation is beyond great, these people are good at what they do and they stand behind itI could sing a song about the almost totally clear screens, I love themBefore you use anyone else, take at look at this company, it will be worth your while and your pocketbook will be happy

AVW provided us an estimate on August 30th, It took longer than anticipated for the install to finally happenWhen the day finally came, the workers discovered the sliding door was broken and a bathroom window screen; we were assured these issues would be adressed quicklyThey also said a rep would call to shutter measurements
No one ever called back regarding the screen, the slider, or the shuttersI called AVW and learned the slider had never even been ordered, the screen had not been located, and the they would have someone call to schedule the shutter measurementsI called a few weeks later and there was apparently an issue with the slider order, which thankfully this time they resolvedThey also finally scheduled the measurement date with the shuttersThe then told us there was a problem with the shutter order and they needed to send the sales rep back out to discuss
The day they measured the shutters, the installer determined the new bay window had not been in

We had AVW replace all windows in our home and I cannot say enough good things about them and their employees They kept us informed all the way through the ordering, building of the windows and the installation They were to be here last WedA.Mat and at 6:Sergio and another employee arrived and told us they were sorry for showing up earlyNot a problem They worked all day installing the highest windows and came back the next morning with two more crew members and took care of the rest When they were finished working the place was clean inside and outside I have never had a better experience with ANY home improvement company I would highly recommend this company for any future improvements to our home Thank you for the quality service and products

New replacement windows were installed and the caulking and sealing materials that hold the window in place is not drying and is sticky to the touch, inside and outThe windows were installed weeks ago I was later told that getting the inside and outside of the windows painted my help the situation for a whileIf the caulking is soft, the paint will peel at a later date

American Vision Windows and their sales person lied and misinformed us when we purchased our windowsMy husband and I had a salesperson come to the house by the name of RodWe are in the process of a remodel and told the salesperson that we wanted to replace some windows but only had a short time frame to installotherwise, we would leave the old windows as is, for nowRod stated he checked with his manager and that the windows would be installed by the first week of January, second week of January at the latestWe agreed but advised that it was imperative since we have multiple workers at the house and the windows would slow us down and cost us additional moneyMy husband met with Rod again and was provided the contractIn small handwritten letters, the contract stated week delivery timeAs it turned out the windows would not even arrive until the 23rd of January! It was a rouse the WHOLE time and they knew itI learned of the news when they called to schedule a time to install and the soonest they had was the 25th of JanuaryI began calling and telling them that was not what was told to meI asked for a manager to call me backI called the salespersonHe played dumb and blamed it on someone elseMy painters could not paint, the stucco has to be REDONE and the floors are now only being put inI FINALLY spoke to the manager Jean who was rude and stated that they were well within the terms of their contractThey did nothing wrong and did not care about the salesperson misrepresentations or the added expense they caused usThey owe us for the delays caused by themTheir sales tactics are unprofessional and underhanded

Our contract was to have the work done in days months ago, the work has just been completed days ago after having to get the ROC (the register of contractors) involved
This company is an extremely unethical businessWe have worked with many companies but, they are the worst my husband I have EVERY worked withWe live in a 1930's home and it had original windows in this house and they needed to be redoneThis company doesn't show for scheduled appointmentsThey did a build up of two windows and when placing the original border back around the window and it didn't match up my husband mentioned it to one of the workers and he said "Put a little a paint on it." and they "finished" by putting caulking inside the holesAlso when doing two other windows they left wood completely open to the eliminates and placed tin on only the top and bottom of the windows and said put a little paint on itWe also had one of the workers come out and do plaster work and when he was finished handed us a handheld sander and said "When it dries go ahead and sand it down." That was not a part of the contract to have the home owners do the workPrevious to completion of work they ran our card without authorization and we won that case after our bank and visa did an investigation of what they had doneWe then got the ROC involvedThis is just the tip of the ice bergIf you hire this company expect a fight to get quality work and to even get the work done properly
