Chandler Air

Chandler air installed a new unit at our house in Scottsdale. Ryan who is the owner is a stand up and honest guy. We had a issue after the installation and within a hour of me calling him Matt D showed up to fix it. This company is the type of company you want doing work in your home.

This business is disorganized and their ability to dispatch service technicians within the 4 hour windows they schedule can not be trusted. In my last experience with Chandler Air, I was given a 4 hour window for a service call, between noon and 4 pm on a Thursday. I called at 2 pm and 4:30 pm to ask if I was still on the schedule. Both times, the receptionist assured me that I would still get a service call that day. By 5:00 pm, the office was closed and no technician had appeared. When I called the next morning I was offered the standard explanation that the technician scheduled for my call had stayed at his previous call until 7 pm and that he did not have my phone number so he could not call to let me know he would not show up. I was then offered the opportunity to make a new appointment. Here is what I learned about Chandler Air: The office is disorganized and doesn't know what their technicians are doing in the field so they can not give their customers accurate information on scheduling. At least one technician can't accurately diagnose a problem and provide a good estimate of how long service will take. When Chandler Air fails to show up, they don't call you to see if they can reschedule, they wait for you to call and then give you the opportunity to get back on the schedule. Like many customers, I had to take one half day off my job to be home for a necessary service. The NO SHOW by Chandler Air will cause me to take at least another half day off. I try to do business with small companies in my local area. In the case of Chandler Air, this was a mistake I will not repeat. I will not recommend this business to anyone.

My husband and I have been a customer of Chandler Air for more than 10 years receiving there spring and fall check-ups for our furnace and AC. We have always had positive experiences with the folks at Chandler Air- from the business staff to the technicians who service our unit. In 2010 we replaced the original unit (from 1960) as we were beginning to pour money into repairs. The new Rudd unit has had some major flaws. A new compressor was replaced in 2011, new coil in 2014, and again, a new coil replaced in 2015. As all has been under warranty, there has been no charge. However, I commend the owner of Chandler Air for still making us a priority in getting the work done timely and with the professional technicians employed. We will continue to use Chandler Air for our heating and cooling needs!
