Chaney Realty

I am writing with a complaint against Chaney Realty. I purchased a home in *** in April 2019 for $***. On 11/6/2019, I applied $*** from the sale of our home in ***, to assist in eliminating the PMI. I was told in order to have the PMI removed, I needed to have my house reappraised. *** made arrangements to have the appraisal done, and then required us to pay $***, in order to initiate the reappraisal. I made this payment to *** on 11/27/2019. There was no further contact, until I received an unidentified text on 12/26; asking, "How do I get into the property at ***, ***'"; not explaining who they were. A *** search of the phone number revealed it was Chaney Realty. I called Chaney Realty and set up an appointment for the appraisal. No call, no show. The next day, another realtor sent a text to get pictures for the appraisal. On 1/10/2020, I reeceived a rejection letter from *** stating that there was a decrease in the value of our property by $***, and therefore the Loan to Value ratio of % had not been met. I then requested a copy of the appraisal, and I noticed that some of the information was incorrect: 1)it listed that the house was built in 1955, instead of 2005; 2)the square footage was listed as 1,140; and it is 2,600 sq. ft.Due to these discrepencies, the amount of our reappraisal was much lower than the purcahing appraisal. I immediately contacted *** and have tried resolving this with *** and Chaney Realty via phone several times. Chaney Realty is refusing to assist me, stating that I need to deal with ***. I received the Property Valuation Dispute form from ***, which I promptly filled out and returned to them on 1/27. Over the course of 2 weeks, I have made numerous calls to *** and no progress has been made.
