The mother of complainant who paid for her son's classes met with me on 6/3/2015 to resolve the matter.  We reached an agreement to award the certificate after the participant completes the required work.

contractual arrangement. My contract is with her ex spouse. [redacted] and her ex spouse are engaged in a child visitation and custody dispute. [redacted] has alleged that her ex spouse abused their child. She's seeks full legal and physical custody. The ex spouse gas been investigated by [redacted] and been cleared. The child has been in counseling for nearly a year and has not confessed abuse. The child's therapist questions the mother's motives. A court appointed mediator has reviewed everything and is recommending joint legal and physical custody. The mediator also questions Ms. [redacted]' motives. Neither the courts, therapists, nor mediator finds fault with the way PACE has provided services. Both parents are scheduled to appear in court next week. All parties investigating this matter believe the complaint is an attempt to have the fathers visitation reports thrown out and discredit the agency in an attempt to upset the fathers good progress and award of joint custody. Review: The Change of P.A.C.E. Services agency provides supervised visitation and is supposed to adhere to the California Superior Court Rules. This agency provided services for my five year old son to visit with his father which was court ordered as a result of [redacted] abuse concluded by the [redacted] as "inconclusive." The agency was non-compliant with Superior Court Rules Standard 5.20 Title 5(k) which prohibits supervised agencies to allow the exchange of gifts, money, or cards where there are allegations of [redacted].The agency allowed these gifts and the agency monitor documented these gifts in her reports:On Monday, April 21, 2014 [redacted] brings [redacted] candy to the visit. Change of P.A.C.E. monitor Sublett reported he brought him to the visit an Apple sauce Burst, a Ninja coloring book, and [redacted] candy dispenser. On Monday, April 28, 2014 [redacted] brings home a gift of Teenage Mutant Ninjas Turtle tennis shoes (size 9). On Monday, May 12, 2014 Change of P.A.C.E. monitor Sublett reported that [redacted] asks [redacted] about the licking game in violation of Superior Court Rules and asks [redacted] not to discuss the case. On Thursday, May 22, 2014 Change of P.A.C.E. monitor reported that [redacted] reminds him to follow the rules and he could receive ice cream and candy. After the visit [redacted] brought home gifts from his dad which included a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle writing desk pad, a bubble gun, and stickers. At this point I told the monitor that gifts and treats are in violation of the Superior Court Rules for supervised visitation and requested that she not allow exchange of gifts. On Monday, July 14, 2014 [redacted] came home from the visit with gifts and treats; specifically a big lollipop, a batman cape, and box of blueberries. As a result of this non-compliance my attorney wrote a Cease and desist letter to [redacted], the director of the agency. In addition, I a complaint letter to the Court to remove them from the provider list.Desired Settlement: I would like the Change of P.A.C.E. Services agency to stop providing services to my son and refund of $175.00 so I can find an objective agency to provide services in accordance with California statute and court rules.

Review: I signed up and paid for 12 anger management classes with this company. I was told upon completion I would receive a certificate that I can take to court. I completed the program and took my exit test but have yet to receive my certificate. I called several times and he never returned any of my phone calls. My mother called him from her phone and he returned her call and said the certificate would be mailed on 06/01/15. Today I received an email saying that I left before the closing interview and I took the sign out sheet with me and he would not be able to give me a certificate of completion. My mother called him once again and he stated he could give me a copy of the 12 sign in sheets to take to court. I signed up for a program to provide me with a certificate not sign in sheets. We offered for me to come in a do another closing interview but all he said he could provide was the sign in sheets to take to court. He is so unprofessional he would make appointments and when I show up her would say I was not scheduled and make another appointment. Now he is saying I took a sign in sheet that is used by all participants who signed in that day. #1 why would I take the signout sheet #2 you cannot take the test until you completed the 12 classes.Desired Settlement: I would like a certificate of completion or a refund.
