I called in advance and explained I needed my starter changed The lady on the phone said ok and gave me an appointment I get a call the morning of dropping my car off and Joe, the mechanic, tells me he doesn't do this kind of work He won't change the starter with the new part I gave him because he doesn't do that Tells me there is an oil leak that probably ruined the starter I said I know and it is being repaired in a few days He was very rude and short on the phone Wouldn't let me speak Didn't even offer to fix the oil leak and change the starter with his part Didn't even give me the chance to ask him if he could fix the oil leak Just totally told me to pick up my car If he had said that he would only do the work if he fixed the oil leak I would have said yes Then he hung up on me I had to call back to ask his secretary to lock the car up After this phone call I checked online reviews and he has a lot of bad reviews Most saying he is rude and a jerk and sometimes wouldn't fix there cars How do you expect to run a business that requires word of mouth for new customers when you are such a rude miserable person to them I'm sorry I tried using him and am going back to ***s in Babylon Those guys are always pleasant and honest with you And stand behind their work
