Channel Fuse Media Reviews (2)

I have zero complaints about this company. I needed a product mastered, I sent my completed work to them, and the results were very good. The turnaround was better than I expected.","pos-1

CFM did not perform as advertised. the product was of extremely poor quality.8/5/2014 09:12 PDT - [redacted]: Buyer escalated this dispute to a Claim.*8/5/2014 09:12 PDT - Buyer: If a company represents itself as having certifications that it does not possess then certainly it has already proven itself to be untrustworthy. Channelfuse Media claims that it is Revdex.com accredited. That is not true. I looked them up on the Memphis Revdex.com website and they were not listed as an accredited business. As a second level of investigation, I called the Revdex.com of Memphis and found that they were not accredited. Among their services they list:(1) fadeouts/crossfades I received the masters with abrupt endings; no fadeout at all. Their response was I did not instruct them where to fade the songs. They maintain that they requested this information on a form. Nowhere on any Channelfuse publication did I see any request for that information.(2) clarityThis was not an issue as far as I was concerned but when I was dissatisfied with issues unrelated to clarity they told me that my mixes were unsatisfactory. If my mixes were unsatisfactory in the first place why didn't they inform me of this "opinion" prior to beginning mastering? I have an email from them stating that they had received my songs and "all was expected to go well". That should have been the opportunity for them to express any concerns to me. If clarity was an issue then as far as I am concerned they should not state that the mastering service adds clarity to mixes when ultimately this is a problem for them.Additionally, I received a "Reference Disc" from them that had a silent gap starting at 1:38 of track 1 and ending at about 2:20 seconds. When I mentioned that fact in an email I was told that no such thing existed on the "Master Disc". I was not speaking about the Master. In fact, it is my understanding that the Master is not to be used for ordinary listening but should be used in the replication or duplication process. Finally, I have images of the Channel fuse website as well as all email correspondence with them to support the points that I am making. Desired SettlementI am seeking a complete refund in the amount of $234.33. You will find an Email from Paypal granting a full refund to me. I mailed the package back to CFM and received a tracking number which subsequently was never tracked. I have the receipt proving that I mailed it.Hello[redacted],After carefully reviewing your case, we've determined that you'll beeligible for a refund (including handling and shipping) once you'vereturned the merchandise to the seller.Once you have returned the merchandise, you will be covered under [redacted]Buyer Protection and eligible to receive a full refund.-----------------------------------Transaction Details-----------------------------------Seller's Name: [redacted]Seller's Email: [email protected]'s Transaction ID: 4YK345095L500884TTransaction Date: Jul 19, 2014Transaction Amount: -$234.33 USDYour Transaction ID: 27M0652204599035CCase Number: PP-003-312-819-031Buyer's Transaction ID: 27M0652204599035C-----------------------------------What To Do Next-----------------------------------Please ship the items listed as "Granted" below back to the seller. We are notifying you of his fraudulent claim/dispute with proof/documentation of his intent of deception against us (Channel Fuse Media),[redacted] Inc., and the Revdex.com all at the same time. The photo copy attached to this email proves he is lying about [redacted] deciding anything in his favor. The facts are, [redacted] decided against [redacted], and in favor of Channel Fuse Media (please see attachment). Also, [redacted] says he returned merchandise to us and that is a complete lie. To date we have not received the product back that we originally sent him. From the beginning we tried to communicate with [redacted] in a professional manner in hopes of reaching a satisfactory solution, but unfortunately his is complaint is full of inaccuracies, and is nothing more than a desperate attempt to try and ruin our good name. We do not agree with the details of his complaint in any way, shape, or form. In fact, we offered to make any changes/corrections to any issues he had for FREE, and he refused. Our company enhanced his mix's to the best of our ability. We do not apply fades unless we are instructed to apply fades on the order. Buyer did not instruct us to apply any fades on his order form or by email. This is standard practice, and we explained this to client several times. If any of the proof CD's are damaged in transit, then we will replace it for free. Part of our guarantee, and we offered this to client. Not sure what certifications this person is referring to, our website shows a Revdex.com rating of A, and we are allowed to show we have a Revdex.com rating of A. Other items stated by this client don't really make any sense to us such as his claim that he returned the product to us, he did not. And his claim that[redacted] decided in his favor, they did not. In fact, on X-XX-XX[redacted]'s dispute resolution departments decision was in favor of Channel Fuse Media, and against client ([redacted]). I am attaching a photocopy of their decision as proof, and clearly shows Mr. [redacted] is being deceptive. His statements are not a truthful account of his dealings with us, and clearly shows that he prefers to use lies and threats to deceive people for his own monitory gain. Our company processes over 840 individual orders every year and we maintain a 99% complete customer satisfaction rate. As a business we understand there will always be a bad seed in the bunch, that one extremely difficult client that will never be satisfied no matter what you say or do for him/her. [redacted] is that client.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The response that they forwarded to you is an absolute misrepresentation of fact in its most extravagant form. I will address their claim that I am attempting to ruin their "good" name. I have not publicly posted any negative comment regarding them. I would like a full refund of my $233.34. I have, in fact attempted to pursue this through proper channels. The fact that they claim to be Revdex.com Accredited should be and is grounds to disregard any statement of "supposed" fact emanating from these people. How can anyone make any claim to "professional" in any manner when they don't do what they profess to do. I have the receipt showing that I mailed the package to them. I have the Email from[redacted] instructing me to mail the package back to them. If[redacted] had not decided in my favor then why are they even addressing the return of the package to them. I even have a picture of the package just before I mailed it with the details (I.e, time, date) in my phone. If the mixes were of such poor quality and IF they could not enhance them to industry standards, THEN why procced with the mastering process especially in light of the fact that their reputation was involved. It seems to me that it can be considered unethical to touch input that cannot be brought up to standard as a result of their "professional input". As previously stated they DID NOT ASSERT in any form that I completed that I needed to instruct them in regards to fades. I assumed they would fade each sung out at its ending point. As a point of fact I have never attempted to cast any aspersion on them in a personal manner. I only addressed the very shabby work that they performed. How am I exploiting anyone for any financial gain when I don't have the masters and they have my $233.34? They explained to me about fades after I questioned them about the absence of fades. Other mastering engineers have faded my mixes without instruction. Documents List:Document A - email from paypal awarding refund to me.Document B: picture of package before I mailed it back to cfmDocument 1: email from cfm acknowledging receipt ot upload and payment and "the mastering session was expected to go well". there was no mention of subpar mixes.Document 2: screenshot directly from cfm website claiming to be Revdex.com accredited when in fact they are not. I checked the Revdex.com website for accredation as well as called the west Memphis Revdex.com and found that this is a misrepresentation of fact.Document3: Emailed a copy of mail receipt to paypal which included tracking number.Document 4: same as aboveDocument 5: same as 1 but includes details of sender and receiver Document 6: from cfm website. order forms with NO mention of indicating fades.Document 7: same as A but includes details of sender and receiverFinal Business Response Mr. [redacted] is still not being truthful, he NEVER returned the product to us. He has provided NO tracking or successful delivery confirmation documentation, nothing. His attachments do not show any photographic proof, or tracking info, it's simply not proof of anything really. OUR PROOF: If you look at the picture info embedded in the photo CFM B.jpg, it shows no shipping/tracking and it was taken "created: Wednesday, September 10, XXXX X:XX PM", so how could he take a picture of the same package he claims to have returned to us 4 weeks earlier? Also, I don't know why he still claims[redacted] granted him a refund, they did not. He is clearly lying and typing up his own fake documents.WE have provided actual photo proof of the actual email we received stating[redacted] has decided in our favor and granted us full payment. On X-XX-XX[redacted]'s dispute resolution departments decision was in favor of Channel Fuse Media, and against client ([redacted]). Once again I am attaching a photocopy of their decision as proof, and clearly shows Mr. [redacted] is being deceptive. His statements are not a truthful account of his dealings with us, and clearly shows that he prefers to use lies and threats to deceive people for his own monitory gain. We already offered Mr. [redacted] the option of revisions, or 50% refund and he refused. In fact, we offered to make any changes/corrections to any issues he had for FREE, and he refused. Not sure what certifications this person is referring to, our website shows a Revdex.com rating of A, and we are allowed to show we have a Revdex.com rating of A.From the beginning we tried to communicate with [redacted] in a professional manner in hopes of reaching a satisfactory solution, but unfortunately his is complaint is full of inaccuracies, and is nothing more than a desperate attempt to try and ruin our good name. [redacted] is that client.
