Review: One year ago we bought their Miracle Max water ionizer. We started having two issues around Sept-Oct 2013. I called their tech dept, & was given suggestions on one & was told the machine would have to be sent in to replace/repair the LCD panel. Well I took their tech departments suggestions on cleaning the machine. I did several cleanings with no real positive results.So in December I sent the machine in to be repaired & to check for performance of the machine. After about a week from them receiving my machine I had not heard anything & emailed them. I received an email back telling me that my machine needed a power citric acid wash & it would cost $59. So I OKed the charge, but was not happy about this because I was not given much detail of this service & I'm wondering why my several attempts to clean as per their owners manual with citric acid & tech dept advice had not given any good results. I let them know I was not happy about the charge but my $2000 machine needed to be fixed. I complained over & over about this charge but paid it plus shipping both ways of about $65.My contact there Janine Farmer said at one point maybe they would allow a !0% discount on future orders of parts or filters maybe FREE shipping. Also something about the machine appeared to of been in water??? I'm not sure I understand, we never got this machine wet or in water.We received the machine back in a few days. I hooked it up to my surprise the repaired machine performed much better than the day we bought it NEW.My complaint is that I believe this machine NEVER WORKED CORRECTLY from the day it was NEW. That had they not disassembled the machine to clean it that we were charged $59 for. Whatever was wrong or didn't allow this machine to perform to its maximum performance would of never been repair. Basically a MANUFACTURES DEFECT.Today I received a call from another person @ Chanson that never even asked what would make me happy just stood their ground it was a service.Desired Settlement: I feel they should of refunded me the $59 when I notified them that the machines performance was far better than the day we bought it NEW. Whatever improved the performance over new I believe was a manufactures defect that was only found & corrected because I agreed to pay $59 for them to tear it completely apart to clean. I'm quiet sure their not going to try & resolve this matter in anyway. At the very least I want this complaint available to the public to see when & if checking.
