Review: ON 1-31-2014 I TOOK MY 2011 [redacted] FOR A BASIC OIL CHANGE . THE SERVICE ASSOCIATE THAT WAS HELPING ME GAVE ME THE TOTAL PRICE FOR THE OIL CHANGE INCLUDING PARK LIGHT BULB THAT SAY I NEEDED . I AGREED TO THE PRICE OF THE OIL CHANGE AND MATERIALS NEEDED THINKING THAT THEY HAD MY BEST INTREST. SO IM IN THE WAITING AREA WAITING FOR MY VEHICLE THEN THE SERVICE TECH CAME BACK AND SAID I NEED MORE PARTS. NOW I FEEL LIKE THEY ARE TRYING TO HUSTLE ME CAUSE NOW I SO CALLED NEED WIPER BLADES & AN AIR FILTER. WHICH I HAD DONE 3 WEEKS PRIOR OF THIS OIL CHANGE. SERVICE TECH STARTED TO DO THERE NORMAL ROUTINE OF SERVICING MY CAR. THEY HAD ONE ASSOCIATE LOOKING AT ME THE WHOLE TIME WHILE IM IN THE WAITING AREA FOR SOME ODD REASON. I TAUGHT IT WAS VERY STRANGE AND I DIDNT FEEL RIGHT. NOW THE TECH CAME TO ME EVERYTHING WAS DONE. MY SERVICE LIGHT WAS ON AND THEY TURNED IT OFF. THE SERIVCE MGR WAS RELAXING WHILE THESE SO CALLED TECHS WAS ACTING LIKE KIDS IN THE SHOP.THERE WAS ONE GIRL SERVICING MY CAR DOING ALL THE WORK WHILE THE OTHER ASSOCIATES WAS LOOKING AROUND DOING NOTHING.I PAID THE $130 THEY ASKED IF EVERYTHING WAS OK WITH THE SERVICE & I SAID YES THINKING IT WAS.I DROVE FOR ABOUT 20 MILES BEFORE MY CAR SHUT DOWN COMPLETELY .I HEARD A LOUD BANG ON 495 DURING RUSH HOUR HEADING HOME .NOW I CALLED ROAD SIDE SERVICE ASSISTANCE TOO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH MY CAR CAUSE IT WOULD NOT START BACK UP .NOW WE HAD TO TOW MY CAR TO [redacted] DEALERSHIP. ON 2-3-14 THE DEALERSHIP DIAGNOIS IT WAS A HOLE IN MY ENGINE .THE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR SAID THEY DIDN'T CHANGE MY OIL.THE OLD OIL WAS STILL IN MY ENGINE WITH JUST A NEW FILTER.THE JIFFY LUBE MGR WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP THE NEXT DAY TOO LOOK AT MY CAR.HE SAID THAT I DONT BELEVE THAT WE WOULD MAKE A SERIOUS MISTAKE LIKE THAT.NOW I CALLED THE JIFFY LUBE MGR TO ASK THEM WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO TO FIX MY CAR AFTER WE GOT THE RESULTS BACK FROM THE DEALERSHIP.HE JUST LAUGH .WE GOT INTO A VERBAL ARGUMENT .DURING THE ARGUEMENT I FELT ALOT OFF DISCRIMINATION.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE THEM TO REPLACE MY ENGINE THAT WAS DAMAGED ITS BEEN 2 MONTHS NOW WITH NO RESULTS TO FIX MY CAR
