[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]MrChapa consulted for his professional advise as a roofer and as business accredited by Revdex.com to find and fix water leak from 2nd floor patioPlease see attached evidence of conversationsMrChapa's professional judgement and advised was to change the ceramic tile and fix the door Evidence showed that after the last repair in September , the water penetration has gotten worst If his advised were to the roof to fix the problem , we should have done that instead of changing the ceramic tile to avoid unnecessary repair , I understand , that underlying woods were damaged due to leak but that could have done after the primary problem is resolved. MrChapa's poor professional judgement and recommendation cost us time and money

I was hired by *** *** to replace some ceramic tile on second floor patio, The underlayment wood was rotted. This ceramic tile work has not leaked into the house after several testing. Her house leaks are found at other areas not worked by me. I informed her if she
wanted me to fix the leak and she refused because she wanted me to work for free. I can return and work on her house, but she will have to pay for additional work not related to my ceramic tile work Gustavo Chapa
House leak coming into the house has nothing to do with the work which I didMs***, called me and said her house was leaking due to faulty patio ceramic tileTile was replaced along with sub wood flooring which was rotted. The roof structure at this part of the house drains a lot of water unto this area. Water is getting into the house due to roof water run offThis water penetration has nothing to do with my ceramic work. I did not cause water to enter the house from roof rain draining into the houseOwner needs to re-model house to re- do the roof to have it extended to cover this patio areaSo that rain all will fall elsewhere Gustavo Chapa

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]As I mentioned in my complaint, Mr. Chapa was contracted to find and fix the water leak from the second floor patio. Ceramic tile was in perfect condition prior to repair however Mr. Chapa concluded that leak was coming from improper installation of ceramic . We would have never agreed to changed the ceramic tile and changed all the damaged wood if Mr. Chapa did not give us the assurance that it was coming from the improper installation of tile. All extra work that was done in an attempt to find the leak were paid as an extra expense for us at no result. There was no water leak testing done prior to and after the completion of every attempt to repair the leak. Mr. Chapa was never present with those extra repairs, he would only send one worker. Multiple messages and calls were made to Mr. Chapa after the last major repair that was done in September 2015 but Mr. Chapa never committed into fixing the problem. As to this day, leak still has not been fix and the kitchen ceiling that damaged as caused by the last repair that was done in September 2015 still has not been fix. Water leak still continues when it rains and after the last repair it has gotten worst. The ceramic and all wood damages were replaced for what purpose , if the water penetration never resolved.
