We, [redacted] constructing company from Mexico, started negotiations with CHAPARRAL CONCRETE EQUIPMENT to buy two 2001 Mack mixer trucks w/10.5 yd on 03/23/2011. The requested trucks had to be freighted to Naco Az as soon as possible. We made a wire transfer to CHAPARRAL CONCRETE EQUIPMENT to the following account number 2515516487 having an effective date of 03/25/2011 for a total amount of $66,000.00 USD. Since the beginning of the negotiations we let [redacted] (CHAPARRAL CONCRETE EQUIPMENT INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER) know that we needed those trucks as soon as possible. But when we tried to reach him ( that was almost impossible) to know what the status is, he won’t give us an straight answer. He said that they did't have the mixer truck titles and that the process to obtain them will take a while. This situation was never mentioned before; they were supposed to send the mixer trucks as soon as the wire transfer was completed. Finally the mixer trucks were arrived April 16th and 18th but the titles arrived until the 28th . When we tried to import the trucks we were told that a new law in Mexico prohibits the entrance of models prior 2004. Besides that, the conditions of the trucks are really poor. Today we contact with them trying to get a settlement, but they responded aggressively and dare to say that they really don’t care about our complaints. With all this, the construction project was in jeopardy. We even had to rent two mixer trucks in order to finish the project as requested. Now we have two mixer trucks that we don’t need that much, but also can’t be imported to Mexico because they didn’t send them on time. They’re still offering 10 Mack units which obviously they don’t have, because if they had them, it wouldn’t take that long to send them over. That’s why we’re asking for your help and advice.
