[redacted] *** In regards to the letter I have received from [redacted] the Revdex.com, 4/12/5:17:PM, I will begin by stating that the accusation made is a complete untruthThe customer in association with the matter, Mr [redacted] , checked in at precisely 6:PM on the night of April I gave him room on account of room availability on the ground floor being limited for a room with beds as requested by the guestI was unaware of any lack of quality in this room as compared to any other roomHe left to his room not unsatisfiedHowever he returned a short wile later with concerns about an unusual smell in the roomI was more than happy to move him to another room to make him more comfortableIt was the second floor room number based on availability of a double bed room as requested by the customerOnce again he left the office seemingly satisfiedI was outside of my office when he again approached me, this time in a mildly hostile mannerHe was asking for a refundI questioned why he was disappointed the the room and attempted to resolve the issueI believe a lack of understanding of my wording or perhaps my accent made him think my response to be unkindHe became agitated and used inappropriate language in a disruptive mannerSo I asked him to leave my properly, and he obligedI was concerned that the noise might disturb my other customersThe fallowing day I attempted to refund the credit card as requested and was unable to processI don't know why the refund would not go throughI made several attempts to make the refund all unsuccessfulI assume he may have put a hold on the card or canceled it altogetherI will be more than happy to return the that was charged to the cardI have attached an invoice to show the charges made on the card are as fallows89.99+tax to equal a total charge of I will request his information so I may refund the money in a timely mannerI do request that the inaccurate account of the incident posted to Google Reviews be removedI am also quite offended that my race was mentioned on account of that having nothing to do with my businessI do not think in appropriate to discriminate in a public review Thank you for your time I hope this Issues is resolved peaceful

I am rejecting this response because:The business owner is lying about many of the things in this email.  The facts I stated in my complaint were true and correct, as witnessed by my wife and children, and my in laws when he came out of the hotel.  He never checked me into in a second room, as the problem I had was that he was attempting to charge my credit card again, after he had just charged it for room 123.   It appeared he did not know how to operate his computer system.  I did not cancel the card until 4/17.  He claimed at the time that my card had not gone through, and was attempting to charge it again, which is what my problem was in the first place. Had he simply exchanged room 123 for another room which did not stink, there would have been no problem. He never provided me with keys to the second room or checked me into the second room, nor did I leave his office and return a third time.  I checked into room 123, returned to his office after it smelled, and then the confrontation started.  As I stated, I did start walking to my car, with him following me berating me in front of my wife and young children, but when I got right outside his front door, I realized that he still had my drivers license behind the counter. He refused to return it, and I went around him, walked to his computer where he had put it and reached over grabbed it myself.  This would all be evidenced by his security cameras in direct contradiction to his story.His response is full of mistruths. As he had security cameras all over the motel, I am completely positive that the footage from those cameras will back up my story 100%. If he continues to claim otherwise, I ask him to release the video footage that he threatened me with which will show the truth.My review to Google was not inaccurate, so I will not remove it, and I am sure that he can cancel the illegitimate charges by calling his credit card machine company or bank, as I have indeed asked my bank to remove them from my account.Also, I only mentioned his race because I did not know his name and had no other way to identify him.

checked in at precisely 6:31 PM on the night of April 11 2015. I gave him room 123 on account of room availability on the ground floor being limited for a room with 2 beds as requested by the guest. I was unaware of any lack of quality in this room as compared to any other room. He left to his room not unsatisfied. However he returned a short wile later with concerns about an unusual smell in the room. I was more than happy to move him to another room to make him more comfortable. It was the second floor room number 223 based on availability of a double bed room as requested by the customer. Once again he left the office seemingly satisfied. I was outside of my office when he again approached me, this time in a mildly hostile manner. He was asking for a refund. I questioned why he was disappointed the the room and attempted to resolve the issue. I believe a lack of understanding of my wording or perhaps my accent made him think my response to be unkind. I will request his information so I may refund the money in a timely manner. I do request that the inaccurate account of the incident posted to Google Reviews be removed.
