Chapel Hill Taxi and Shuttle

I was given a negotiated flat rate quote for my taxi trip from RDU to my house. It was not honored and I was bullied into paying a higher rate.I called the night before (Wednesday 12/11) to reserve a cab and whoever answered the phone quoted me a rate for college students and we negotiated down to $32 to go from RDU to [redacted]. I thought this was a really great rate so I booked a taxi for the next day. They showed up and when we were past halfway, I mentioned to the driver that I was given a flat rate and she started arguing with me and yelling at me, accusing me of being a liar and threatening to take me to the police station if I did not pay her full rate. I am very disappointed and irritated by this unpleasant experience. When they gave me a flat rate over the phone, it should have been marked down or invoiced, and I as the customer should not have had to argue about it with the driver. The driver [redacted] bullied me into paying $47.50 when I only owed the company the $32 that I was quoted. Otherwise I was given a false quote.Also when [redacted] saw my student ID for an out of state college, she got even angrier and said that only students who attend nearby local colleges get discounts. However, this is not explicitly stated on the website or on the phone when "student discounts" are offered (http://www.chapelhilltaxi.com/). Similar to the false quote, I consider this an unethical and unaccountable form of false advertising.Desired SettlementI would like a refund of the additional $15.50 I was coerced into paying, and I would like the company to be held accountable for disrespectful and deceptive billing practices.
