Chapel Ridge Apartments- North Little Rock

I visited these apartments twice, they have a beautiful office and front section, grounds and pool areaThe pictures on the flyer and the website show a really nice looking unitEach time I visited I was told by the manager I could not view the actual unit until it was vacated and all work was completedEach time I asked there was never a model unit available to viewI was told I must apply for apt and pay deposit to hold the unitI paid a non refundable application fee for all adults in my home + depositWhen the unit was supposedly ready for move in I went o look and it was a dump, dirty, burn marks on the outside walls, sinks tubs, floors all filthy.No repairs done anywhere in the unit I told the manager I couldn't possibly pay almost $for a unit with that much damage that I would have to clean myself before moving inShe said I couldn't get my money back because I turned down the apartmentThis is unfair advertisingI want my money back

Beware, Be Cautious, Be on your guard
If you move to these apartments please be carefulInspect the apartment first; go out at night and on the weekends firstI had a horrific nightmare living hereIt should have been a red flag after dealing with harsh, unprofessional management and office staff before moving inI was in a bad situation and made some mistakes that kept me from being qualified for a decent apartmentIt is my opinion that there are no decent people living in this complex
If you are reading this, I am assuming that you are literateI don't believe a majority of the people in this complex are literate These are a very uneducated group of people along with staff The manager is probably involved in some of the activities the residents are intoIf you care about your surroundings don't move into this complexThis place is for residents who are on section 8, and they usually don't complain or care about where they liveThe women on section usually bring the men who cause problems into the placeThere was a person who made a review that lived there around the time I did, and I see he moved outEverything he said was true
Here are some things you will have to deal with:
Groups of children playing outside unsupervised (loud, cursing, disrespectful children)
Drug Dealers standing around waiting to make a sale
Thugs standing around in groups every day after the office closes
People sitting on their front porch watching your coming and going
Loud barbecues, arguing, and fussing regularly
Inattentive staff
This is the Ghetto with a capital G

She said I couldn't get my money back because I turned down the apartment. This is unfair advertising. I want my money back.
