Chapman Cabinets of Georgia Reviews (%countItem)

Deck project was supposed to take 10 weeks. 10 months later the project is still not completed!
I entered into a contracted with Chapman Cabinets of Georgia for a deck on my existing home on April 1, 2019. The agreed completion date was June 7, 2019. It is now February 27, 2020 and the project is only 40% complete.

Desired Outcome

I expect Chapman Cabinets to complete the project by March 15, 2020.

Stay away from this contractor. We contracted with Chapman cabinets for a master bedroom closet in August 2019. It is now February 2020, 6 months later the project is only 50% complete! He promised to complete the closet by October 1, then by Thanksgiving, then by Christmas, then week by week since then. Erik Chapman delivers only excuses day after day, week after week, month after month. I've seen similar posts from customers on other sites - wish I had done more research - I hate to write this kind of review but feel it is my responsibility to warn others.

Amazing quality of Cabinets, friendly/business like and on time!

If you are looking for beautiful cabinets, library book casings or entertainment centers please check out Chapman Cabinet's of Ga. I've used them for about 10 years for different services and highly recommend them!

Eric *** has not fulfilled contract
In January 2019 Eric *** quoted a price for new kitchen cabinets. We paid him on January 24th 4300.00 as a 1/2 deposit. He estimated 3 weeks. It has now been almost 6 months and I have heard nothing but excuse after excuse. We will be following through court proceedings as the next step.

Desired Outcome

Refund 4300.00

My husband and I contracted with Eric Chapman in November, 2018 to do a kitchen remodel. Today, April 18, 2019 we still do not have the job completed. It's been one excuse after the other as to why he can't finish the job. The last straw is this week. He was to deliver our long awaited cabinets on Monday. It's now Thursday. He supposedly fell out of the truck as he was loading our cabinets and now he's too sore to install. We've been without a kitchen for three months. Family of 5 and a newborn in the house. It's been extremely difficult. My husband ended up having to do all the painting in the kitchen because Eric couldn't find a painter. My husband found a finisher to do the dry wall because Eric couldn't get anyone out there. My husband had to pay the floor guys every day because Eric wasn't paying them. We initially gave him $20,000.00 in November. The project is quoted to be $40,000.00. We've paid out of pocket for the hardwood floors because he ran out of money and for the sub contractors at least $10,000.00. If we hadn't of paid him that $20K up front we would have broken ties a long time ago. It's really been a nightmare.

Desired Outcome

Finish the job Desired solution - we just want the job done and a kitchen back so we can get back to enjoying our home.
