Dear Mr***, In response to Mr [redacted] complaint, Chapman Financial Services has not used automated messaging in over yearsOur office searched our entire database and we are not able to locate the phone number that Mr [redacted] provided We recenetly learned from other individuals that automated messages are being left from an individual or entity claiming to be from "Chapman Financial" and are being asked to pay debts that may or may not be validIn Addition, Mr [redacted] , the individuals are not found in our database and are outside of our area The caller ID information that we are able to obtain from one of the individuals is a phone number that is not owned by our company and when we attempt to call the phone number, we receive an error message Chapman Financial Services has notified the FTC and also the Idaho Department of Finance of the fictitious calls that are being made If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me Sincerely yours, Vinetta O***

In response to Mr [redacted] 's complaint, Chapman Financial Services received a ceasecommunication request on March 12, along with a request for validation of debt Our offices mailed validation to Mr [redacted] on April 8, and as a courtesy removedthe accounts from Mr [redacted] 's credit report The confirmation numbers of the deletion were # [redacted] , # [redacted] , and # [redacted] .No further communication has been made to Mr [redacted] nor any other party regarding thismatter If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.Sincerely yours, Vinetta O [redacted] Department

In response to Ms [redacted] 's complaint, Chapman Financial Services received an initialdispute from Ms [redacted] on March 28, Our client responded to Ms [redacted] 'sdispute by supplying a written response, a copy of the signed agreement, and anitemization of the chargesA copy of these items were mailed to Ms [redacted] on April 7, Chapman Financial Services received a second dispute from Mr [redacted] on April 25,and our office again supplied the dispute to our clientThe response that wereceived from our client still confirmed that the debt is validA copy of the response wasmailed to Ms [redacted] on May 5, 2016.Until Ms [redacted] no longer disputes the debt, the account it will continue to be reportedas a disputed account on her Trans Union and Equifax credit files.If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me

In response to Ms***' complaint, Ms*** entered into a contract with ouroffice on May 17, for the purpose of collecting her outstanding debts.Paragraph of said contract states the following: "Assignment of Accounts: Client, at itssole discretion, will turn over and assign
delinquent accounts to CollectorCollector shallprovide collection services on each account assigned by ClientClient warrants that eachaccount assigned to Collector has not been paid in full and is delinquentClient agreesthat each account is assigned the moment it is listed with collector, either throughelectronic or paper meansThe parties expressly agree that Collector is entitled to itscommission rate on all monies received by either Client or collector after an account hasbeen assigned to Collector."Ms*** accepted a settlement on one of the accounts that was assigned to our officein February and our office billed Ms*** per the sentenced underlined above.Ms*** has since resolved the outstanding invoice.Ms*** requested that her accounts be returned to her in May ofand our officecomplied with this request
