Hi Mrs***,Please contact me and let me know when you will be available to discuss and correct the issues outline in your complaint to Revdex.com.I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks,*** ***Chappie Home Improvement

This is in response to the complaint filed by *** *** dated 11/17/The work was completed as stated in the contract (see attached) between Mrs *** *** and Chappie Home Improvement ContractorThe actual work began on 7/7/and was completed on 7/31/Upon completion of
the job Mrs *** was very please and commended my workShe also asked if I would stabilize the window shutters and I explained to her that was not part of her contract and would be additional if she chose to have it doneThree weeks later Mrs *** called me to say that the paint around the front room window wa chippedI went to her home and found an area or about inches that needed to be repainted, which I did at that timeApproximately months later I received another call from Mrs *** regarding chipped paintOnce again I returned to the home of Mrs *** to find the paint was chipped on the same window and the area, except this time the area to be re-painted was about inches in lengthThe next time I heard from Mrs *** was the beginning of November stating the paint was chipped in a different area, around the living room windowI returned to her home to find an area of about inches of peeling paint down to the bare woodVery unusual as new paint does not peel down to the bare woodThe sealant around the window was not included in our contractI told her I was working in the area of her home and would be back the following day to repair the peeling paintThe following day I called to come over to do the repair and Mrs *** indicated that it was raining at her home and I told her that I was working street over and it was not raining but to call me when she was available so I could do the repairShe hung up the phone and the next time I heard from Mr *** was by email (see attached) and I responded by a phone call and told her I would gladly return and repair the chipped paint when she was availableSecondly I never removed the window shutters as they were sealed to the hinges by old paint and I did not want to remove the shutters for fear of breaking them, therefore I never told her I had pressure washed themThere was one spot of old dripping paint from previous paintingsThirdly, in the case of the window being painted shut, As Mrs *** was opening all the windows she left the dining room window unopened and when I asked her to open that window, I she stated that those windows did not open and had not been opened in yearsIn closing, I had been very patient with Mrs *** and to avoid an argument I even painted the cornice in the front and back of her house at no charge for she understood it to be part of her contract even though it was clearly not listed in the contractIf you have any questions or need additional information please free to contact me at *** or ***

Attention:I did reply to the complaint and do wish that the work be done during the week of 12/21 as weather permits since painting is involved. I will be home at that time.

The comments from Mr. [redacted] are inaccurate and I will be submitting evidence to support via photos and comments from people who can attest to to validity of my complaint. The photos will show that some of the shutter are attached to the house as they were previously and others remain detached. The photos will show that the shutters were not scraped, primed and painted per the contract. The evidence will include interviews from another neighbor who forbade Mr. [redacted] to enter her property after he had performed some work on her house. Secondly, the resulting completed work does not reflect  nor support what he was contracted to do. I will pursue the complaint further.
