Charco 2000, Inc. Reviews (1)

Review: Last year I bought two .22 magnum [redacted] revolvers from [redacted]. I had a ton of issues with them and kept sending them back. About the fourth time the quit answering my emails and wouldn't honor their lifetime warranty by sending me a return shipping label. I had to go to an FFL dealer and pay out of my own pocket. I later received a call from [redacted] who told me "Their no good" and they kept my two revolvers and replaced them with a single .32 [redacted] revolver. I took this revolver to the range and after 15 rounds the cylinder came loose and the ejector rod froze up. I am into this company for $680.00 and still do not have a firearm that is usable. I would like a trouble free firearm, which this company does not seem to be able to do. They have not answered my emails as of today. They said they cannot refund my money. I have gone from two firearms to one and they couldn't even get that ONE right. Horrible product.Desired Settlement: I bought two firearms that by [redacted] own words were "No good" and they replaced my TWO firearms with ONE POS that doesn't work. They don't seem to be able to fix their products. Their gunsmith apparently is a drunken monkey with missing fingers. I'll never get my money back. They told me that. I won't get TWO working firearms out of them either apparently. I guess at best I can hope for is a single working firearm. I won't hold my breath on the though because I have seen their quality.

To Whom it May Concern:

I am a little confused by [redacted] statement to you saying he had not had a response from us at [redacted]. I emailed [redacted] this morning with a [redacted] return label, sent at 10:41 am. I emailed [redacted] to let him know the label was on its way at 10:45. Two revolvers were sent to us on 2-13-13 through [redacted]. One was returned to them on 2/20/13 and one on 2/27/13. On 8-1-13 we received one revolver in, again from [redacted]. We replaced that one with a new revolver under our lifetime warranty. We are waiting for the revolver to come back to us for assessment. [redacted] also spoke with [redacted] today and agreed we will send a refund for the revolver as [redacted] has remained disappointed with our product.

[redacted] currently enjoys an A+ rating with the Revdex.com. It is unfortunate we have been unable to resolve the issues with [redacted] as we always seek to have satisfied Customers.

Sincerely,

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

Yes the business did send me a return mailing label as they said. I have returned the .32 [redacted] Magnum revolver to them. However I DO NOT have in my possession either of the .22 magnum [redacted] revolvers. They kept BOTH of them and replaced them with one .32 [redacted] model revolver. I wrote to [redacted] and told him that I had filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and a short while later he phoned me and asked if I had returned the revolver. I informed him that it would be sent out that very day. (And it was.) He then said he would send me a check and we would part company. I agreed and he hung up on me. From their written response to you they seem to imply that I still own one of their .22 revolvers. I DO NOT. I sent them BOTH in and [redacted] replaced them with one .32 caliber revolver. At this time I do not have any [redacted] firearms in my possession. They need to check their facts.

Sincerely,

Business

To re-iterate what we reported 6-17-14:

We received two (2) revolvers in from [redacted] Firearms on 2/13/2013. Serial number [redacted] was shipped back on 2/20/13 and received by [redacted] Firearms on 2-22-13. This was confirmed today 6-19-14 by [redacted] Firearms. They state the Customer requested it be put on consignment through them. It was sold. They no longer have in their possession. This model and serial number has never been returned to us since that time.

Serial number 12-20978 was repaired and shipped to [redacted] Firearms on 2-27-13.

On August 1, 2013 we received serial number [redacted] back in. It was determined at this time per [redacted] that we would replace with a different model 73220 and re-imburse [redacted] for his shipping charges in the amount of $42.00.

On 8-5-2013 model 73220, serial number [redacted] was shipped to [redacted] Firearms as a replacement for [redacted].

We received an email from [redacted] on 6-15, 2014. He stated he was finally able to take it to the range that day since he hadn't been able to find proper ammunition. He had difficulties with ejection. He was emailed a return label on 6-17-14 for [redacted]. The revolver was received in today. We will be sending him a refund for the sugested retail price of one (1) model 73220.

In Summary:

Two (2) firearms where received from [redacted] Firearms in February of 2013, and two (2) were returned to [redacted] Firearms in February of 2013. One (1) of those was put on consignment per the request of the Customer and sold by [redacted] Firearms.

One (1) firearm was returned to us from [redacted] Firearms in August of 2013. It was replaced with one (1) revolver, different model and serial as stated above.

The replacement (1) firearm was received in today. [redacted] will be reimbursed for the one (1) firearm.

As a Manufacturer of Firearms, we must adhere to strict record control

according to the ATF guidelines. We MUST have all of our facts straight as to the outgoing and incoming of all firearms.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I had to check with [redacted] Firearms as I did not remember the transaction. I have had to send those revolvers back so many times I had lost count of what, where and when.. [redacted] Firearms wouldn't buy the firearm from me as he won't sell [redacted] products in his store. He thinks their junk. But he did sell one revolver for me on consignment. [redacted] is correct on that point. I had forgotten. I feel sorry for the poor fella that bought it.

Sincerely,
