bad workmanship, bad repairs, failed to provide warranties, and overcharges not agreed on.After the hurricane in SPringfield, we choose this contractor for repairs. Her work is substandard and she continually gives problems for the repairs that she said had warranties. I have repeatedly ask for the contract, the warranties she said we had and the listing of the monies she says we owe. She continually did work we did not ask for and continually gives a hard time when there are issues. Windows, siding, roofing, backsteps, electrical. Those are just the building compromisig issues. That doesn't include the smallers items such as installation of fans, painting etc. Desired SettlementI want our contracts, our warranties and our any warranties issues attended to without the grief she has given in the past. I want an accounting of all the approved work in the contracts to include what she was paid by the insurance company.This woman has treated up badly, we are Senior Citizens that feel we have been raped by this woman as a result of the hurrican.Business Response Our firm entered a contract with the customer on June 25th, 2011. The home was located in the path or the June 1st, 2011 tornado. We completed the work on that contract at the end of September 2011. That contract covered replacement of the roof, vinyl siding, some new, shutters, etc. The labor was warranted for a period of one year. All materials carried the manufacturers warrantee which is passed along to the owner. In addition, we entered a second contract in October of that same year, to do some interior work that was covered by a prior claim. On both contracts, the owner signed and we submitted a Certificate of Satisfaction. The owners paid us for most, but not all of the work, as they had to use some of the money (about $3,000) for a personal bill they had to take care of. Our firm wrote off that debt, with the understanding that if they ever were in a position to do so, they would pay the balance. We have never asked them to pay this balance. We have however, returned to the property as recently as August of 2014 to make minor repairs at her request that we did not feel we were responsible for, as we had established a rather friendly relationship with her. We have taken care of these issues even though it is well past the warrantee period. In August I sent her a letter explaining the warrantee period, and offered to sit down with her and go back through our extensive file on the property. She has not called. I would assume this is why she has filed this complaint. As I told her in my letter, I feel badly she us upset, but we have treated this customer very fairly, as we do all of our customers.
