Charles Autobody & Collision Reviews (1)

Good morning,This is just a tactic this client is trying to use to not pay for an insurance repair project with ***I have attached some important documents which should easily clear this upPatriot Global Enterprises LLC and *** *** entered into a contract on October 17,
following a category ( human waste) loss at ** *** *** ** *** **Patriot came in and performed water/hazardous mitigation immediately following the lossAt the request of the homeowners Patriot Global Enterprises LLC was contracted to not only do the rebuild but also to aid the homeowner with negotiations with insurance companyThe homeowners were advised as was the independent adjuster that I was not a licensed adjuster and the homeowner should hire oneI advised the homeowner that a licensed public adjuster would sign a contract and require up to % of their total loss and the homeowner would have to cover any differenceAt that point the homeowner asked if I would talk to the adjuster in which I agreedThe adjuster *** *** and I negotiated honestly and quickly to settle the claimEven though the insurance company had no requirement to negotiate with me as I made aware again that I was not a LICENSED PUBLIC ADJUSTERThe homeowner didn't have money to start the project or make paymentsSo a direction of pay was signed We did the mitigation and the rebuild prior to any money being paidWe did the installation of laminate flooring in basement, replacement of recessed lights in basement, replacement of blue board and plaster in basement and bedroom and hall , painted basement ceiling coats and walls and ceiling in the bedroom coats , painted the walls in the hallway, living room , dining room and kitchen with no paymentIt wasn't until it was time to do the sanding and finishing of the hardwood flooring that we got a paymentI told the homeowner that I couldn't carry this cost any further and it was not my responsibility to carry the costI had a contract which required a deposit and a payment schedule , which the homeowner did not comply withThey made a credit card payment of only $ 7,so floors could be doneAt the homeowners request the tile floor in the bathroom was not doneThe insurance company paid for them to relocate to a hotel during repairsThe homeowners decided that they would do it while the husband was on vacationThis vacation time was schedule prior to our involvement with the project and was not scheduled to accommodate us for the repairsThe only wanted to stay out the minimum days required to seal the hardwood floorsThey didn't want to stay out more days to do the bathroom floorThis was made clear to the homeowners prior to their relocation to the hotelText messages will confirm thisI gave the homeowners credit for work not in contract $ 3,This was the amount awarded to them by insurance company for the specific projects not doneInsurance company still gave the homeowners the money for that damage even though it was not doneWe have a signed contract for $ 23,of which payments totaling $ 16,were paidLeaving a balance of $ 6,Then a credit of $ 3,to account leaving a current balance of $ 3,Until now there has not been any mention of problems with the workI have text messages from both *** *** and *** *** that it looks good and no complaints back on October 27th and November The insurance company paid the homeowners $ 21,for repairs to houseNot including mitigation or personal propertyWe have been in contact with the insurance company with these claimsOut total invoice for the homeowners was adjusted months ago to $ 19,We have done losses for *** in years with not one complaintHomeowner has sent messages to me accusing me of lying and committing fraud The homeowner tried to add paint and rollers etcfor rooms not affected by the lossAt this point it is clear this customer has not used the money issued from the insurance company to be directed for the repairs they coveredThe insurance company is not happyBecause we had a direction of pay , the insurance company is now included on the law suitThat in itself is fraudAt this point I have turned it to my attorney and we are filing suit and filing a real estate attachment on the propertyPlease call me with any question***Thank you
