Customer purchased this vehicle on October 30, with 111,miles on it. The vehicle was clearly sold as/is with zero warranty stated or implied. The customer brought the vehicle into the dealership on May 11, 2015. The mileage on the vehicle was 124,miles at
this timeThe dealership was not aware of any type of frame or structural damage at the time of sale. The first time management was made aware of any issue with the vehicle was on May 11, over 13,miles and over months later. In an attempt to resolve the matter and help an unhappy customer we offered to take the vehicle back in trade in it's existing condition but found the customer unrealistic in his demands. Even though we feel there was no wrongdoings on our part during the initial transaction, we will still assist the customer anyway possible in trading his vehicle for something else he would desire or feel more comfortable in

Customer did indeed purchase said vehicle on 10/25/At 8:p.mon Saturday evening of the 25th, customer called and left message on *** Pinkham's cell phoneThey also sent an email to *** and *** responded by phone Monday morning 10/at 8:a.m*** spoke with the co-owner, *** ***
and attempted to set an appointment @ the local Dodge dealer to get vehicle inspected for the check engine lightThey could not get an apptuntil 11/which Mr*** objected to so *** tried to set an apptin Bardstown with the local Ram dealerThe earliest apptavailable again was 11/After taking the truck into the Ram dealer, Mr*** called *** and told him the service department at *** *** told him the oil was low, dirty and there was a sludge concern creating the check engine light to come on*** asked Mr*** to bring the truck to our dealership on 11/for an inspection of the oilIndeed, the oil was dirty and quart lowMy Sales Manager, *** ***, a service technician and Service Manager, *** *** found no evidence of sludge after inspecting the oil cap cover, oil dip stick, oil filter and draining oil from the truckOur technician changed the oil and replaced the oil filter, test drove the truck to make sure the check engine light was no longer onWe also offered to remove the valve covers and let Mr*** inspect the top of the head for sludge build up, but the customer refused thisWe even offered the customer the opportunity to bring his own technician to view this procedure to verify no sludge build up and once again he refusedThis was completed at no charge to the customer and we have written check #to refund the customer the previous charge from *** in the amount of $After speaking with the Service Manager at ***, *** ***, we have been assured that the Factory Warranty is fully intact with coverages remaining the same today as it was at the date of our sale on 10/25/For additional assurance for Mr***, we would be more than happy to perform a complete engine flush and re change the oil and filter at no charge to himspoke

The Dealership is lying about not knowing about the problem or admitting that they done a pitiful job of checking the car out before putting it up for sale. The absence of 14 lbs of air pressure in both driver side tires shows they knew something was wrong. But since there's no way of proving it, I guess I'm just [redacted]. Funny how they never offered to help fix the car, only wanted me to buy another car in its place. Needless to say I will not be doing business with them again. Thanks for nothing.
