Advanced Water Systems was called out an a Sunday afternoon for a customer without water. Our technician pulled the water pump out of the well and determined it needed a new submersible water pump. The existing pump in the well was a 1/2 10gpm Goulds submersible pump. Our company carries the...

Grundfos Stainless steel brand. Our technician installed a new 1/2 hp Grundfos Stainless steel model that matched to the Goulds. A few days later the owner called and indicated the middle zone on his irrigation system did not have enough pressure. Everything with the pump was functional but did not seem to deliver enough water. The office told him we would go back out and install another pump in case there was some issue with the new pump installed. He gave us the approval to go and install another pump sometime during then week. We installed the pump on a Thursday afternoon while no one was home and changed the brand of the pump. We installed a 1/2 hp 10 gpm [redacted] submersible pump. This pump delivers the most water for this pump setting. We received another call a week later stating the water pressure was still too low. During the conversation the owner indicated a loss of water pressure when they were running the irrigation system and trying to run water in the house. We explained how the pump runs and the amount of water a submersible at that depth can deliver. The only time there were issues is when the irrigation was running. We explained how to run the irrigation at a different time of day and water use in the house. The owner had just moved into the house and came from city water.
