Where do I start? Unfortunately, Lundie is the only option for water service in my area. When I bought my house 6 months ago, I gave them my information via email and requested that they transfer service to my name. Last week, I received my first bill...with a late fee. Because [redacted] failed to bill me, I'm supposed to pay a late fee? They don't have an office, so the only option is email (forget about a response) or her cell phone. On her cell phone, you will find out that [redacted] has no concept of or concern with customer service. She got it in her head that I was contesting the balance rather than the late fee...interrupted me several times, and treated me like an it. I finally got her to waive the late fee, but I could tell it pained her. This is what happens when someone passes and leaves a company to their kids...spoiled kids who want the money without the work. If there was a competitor in this area, Lundie would be out of business in a week.

This company is the only available water supply for my neighborhood it is a private well and the owner could care less about the customers. The water quality is terrible, there have been times when the water is brown or when the water does not work at all. Every now and then there is a very strong bleach smell which indicates that's their method of cleaning. The owner has no actual business phone so if you have an issue you have to call a cell phone which is rarely answered. When you bring forward an issue it takes weeks to find a solution. We received a very high bill with an unrealistic water usage amount, after taking a picture of the meter which has a completely different number than the bill and emailing it to the owner we have heard nothing for two weeks now. You would think in a country where we have so many benefits, that providing clean water and good service wouldn't be such an issue. Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of options since this is the only water supply.

Review: For the second time, Lundie has presented me with a late fee in error, and as usual they will not answer their phone or respond to my message. They have no office, and conduct all their business from a cell phone with no regard to customer satisfaction or even basic business integrity. I have USPS tracking confirmation that my payment was in their PO Box on time (July 25th) and now they have given me a statement that includes a late fee. This business is truly abysmal and they only survive due to the fact that there is no other option in this zip code. Still, they have an obligation to PROPERLY bill their customers, and to check their mail. Donna Lundie asked me at one point not to send my payments via certified mail, but I told her that was the only way I would send it. Without an office, and therefore without an opportunity for the customer to get a receipt for payment, certified mail is the only way I can prove that I have sent payment. I believe she has deliberately chosen not to sign for the payment solely because she wants to present me with a bogus late fee to make a point. This is absurd. I'm sure her books are an unmitigated disaster, but this particular incident is deliberate, juvenile, and inexcusable.Desired Settlement: I would like for someone at Lundie Utilities to retrieve my payment and deposit the check.

I would like for Lundie Utilities to acknowledge that the late fee is erroneous and strike it.

I would like a statement reflecting that my payment was sent on time, and a letter of apology that acknowledges that payments sent via Certified Mail will be picked up just like other payments

I would like for Lundie Utilities to acknowledge that until they care enough to maintain an office location, it is only fair for a customer to send payment via Certified Mail
