Mr. [redacted] failed to deliver professional services as promised and as paid for. He failed to return phone calls and only responded to email occasionally, most often when the discussion affected him as opposed to when it affected me and what I needed to fix the outstanding issue he created. On November 14th, when I contacted the state of **, they told me the issue had been defined back in August. I was provided no information regarding this by Mr. [redacted]. Beyond his failure to resolve the issue or even notify me of the status, his work resulted in a tax penalty of over $1000. He states that penalties will be covered if generated by his actions as a licensed tax preparer, however when requested to cover the penalty, he refused.Mr [redacted] prepared my taxes for multiple years and I never had a significant problem. He was willing to jump on the phone to answer other questions as well. Unfortunately, when it really mattered, when something went wrong, he failed to take the necessary actions to complete the resolution, and then once resolved, failed to stand by his commitments.
