I go to the dentist at *** in Novato, Ca. For the last two or three appointments they have called and cancelled my appointment, thus rescheduling me. The wait for appointments are already months out and then once cancelled you have to wait longer. I have a lot of work that needs to be done and pain I have to deal with caused by delayed treatment. I had an appointment scheduled in February which was then rescheduled more then once and wasn’t seen till June and hadn’t been seen since before the new year. They call and cancel less then 45min before the appointment but if we don’t call and cancel 24 hrs in advance we can get dropped after so many no shows. Yet they seem to not keep record of the appointments they cancel and claim they don’t have any record of rescheduling my appointments. Well fortunately they send emails and text messages reminding you, so I have all the records they claim to not. I have little children and they require you to have another adult present or no kids at appointments. Being a single mom, I have to pay sitters and schedule care for my kids in advance. When they cancel my appointment 15 minutes before leaving it is more then an inconvenience. Then when I asked to speak with the manager I was told there wasn’t a manager on duty. Then I was placed on hold for a while and she comes back to tell me it was the manager who called to reschedule me, and she states it looks like the manager kept your appointment for 10am. I was very upset since on the recorded line I ended the call saying they needed to call me back and let me know when to reschedule for because I had already been waiting on the phone and she wasn’t finding anything while I was on the line. First my appointment was scheduled for 9:30am not 10am and the fact that the manager left my appointment on the schedule when she advised me it was cancelled is not ok. Lying to patients and blaming them is unbelievable.
