I have read the rebuttal and Mr [redacted] indicated “the order was for one engine and not three”I failed to notice the error at the time of my order and trusted their system”This does not make sense to meHe clearly ordered units, we confirmed units and shipped unitsI don’t understand why he would think “our system” would think unitPeople order more than one quite frequently so why would our system only ship He should have reviewed his confirmationThat’s why we send them so if there is something incorrect the custome rhas an opportunity to adjust the order without any penaltyOnce the order is processed for shipment it’s too late to change it

Basically the customer ordered units and we shipped what he ordered and he doesn’t want to pay the cost of his error He wants us to pay for his error.Copy #- This is a hard copy of the customers web order which he entered units and was given a total price4/29/He also got an email
confirming the order, see copy #4.Copy #- We emailed the customer a copy of what he ordered, showing units - 2nd confirmation.Copy #- On 5/we shipped the customer the units he orderedHe had between May to May to read the confirmation and change his order, at no cost to him.When he received the order, we received an email that he “mistakenly” ordered units and he called and we asked him to send back.We received the units back and issued a credit to his credit card for 1104.91, less the 15% restock fee, for his mistakeSo essentially he paid a 15% restock fee plus return shipping of for his error

This does not make sense to me. He clearly ordered 3 units, we confirmed 3 units and shipped 3 units. I don’t understand why he would think “our system” would think 1 unit. People order more than one quite frequently so why would our system only ship 1. He should have reviewed his confirmation. That’s why we send them so if there is something incorrect the custome rhas an opportunity to adjust the order without any penalty. Once the order is processed for shipment it’s too late to change it.

We have received [redacted]'s complaint regarding his restock fee of 29.24 ( not 30.00). The original purchase was on order [redacted] dated 3/28, he received the order 3/29. on 4/18, he notified us that he would like to return the set because the sound stopped working. We told him he could return...

the set and we would repair it or replace it at our discretion. he filled out the reverse side of the invoice and asked for a refund. Please see a copy of the reverse side of the invoice. It clearly states no refunds after 10 days and the refund box clearly states restock fees may apply, therefore we did give him a refund even though it was beyond the 10 day return period. We did offer him a new set if we could not repair this one but he simply wanted a refund. When he called to question the restock fee we offered him a refund on that if he bought something of equal value. he was not willing to purchase something else. the restock fees exist because we have a very small shipping charge as compared to the actual cost of shipping. As you can see from our invoice we charged him 9.00 while the actual cost was $28.23. The restock fee is to recap the freight and credit card fees. We obviously want our customers to be happy with their purchase so we waive the re stock fee and shipping cost if they simply select something else they want to purchase. In this case we did offer to repair or replace the set he purchased or if that was not satisfactory to simply purchase something else. If not, then we charge the restock fee as we did in this case. If he would like to use the 29.24 toward another purchase I will give him 10 days to order something that costs 195.00 or greater and we will apply the 29.24 towards that purchase.
