She did not tell me what she stated in the response: "I let her know she will owe more but I'm not sure the amount I will collect it from her when insurance pays". This is a LIE! She just told me to pay upfront my share. In addition, as stated in my complaint, she did not tell me (1) She is going to bill more than the procedure, such as this numbing fee, that my insurance won't pay, and then passed the charge for me to pay. (2) She did not get prior authorization to know ahead that she will not be paid fully on the code she billed. But then she passed [redacted] extra balance she did not get from my insurance to me. (3) Dr. [redacted] clearly told me that he will "eat" the balance if insurance won't pay the code he billed, and will not pass ** the patients. It is better for him to "eat" the balance than having to redo the crown for free if he used the cheaper crown material. Again, there are no transparency from his biller! She cannot bill anything that my insurance won't pay WITHOUT letting me know, and then makes me pay for the bill! She needs to write off this $42.50! Otherwise, we need to resolve this in arbitration!
