Review: I came to know of Charles Tyrwhitt through [redacted] and so I ordered a shirt from them in 2013. I like it and later placed an order to purchase 4 other shirts. One of the shirt was defective and so I sent the defective shirt back to Charles Tyrwhitt. I waited for sometime for them to act and send me a replacement shirt. I never recieved a call or a letter from Charles Tyrwhitt. I was very frustrated and called the customer service, The person spoke with was rude and she told me that they never received a shirt from me. I do not understand how careless is the organization because I used the shipping label that was originally sent to me by Charles Tyrwhitt when I first recieved the order. Later, the customer service representative told me that she is not going to help me. The way she spoke to me was rude. Although I like shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt, I am not sure I will consider them for future products because of their poor organization skills and customer service.

The order/reference # is [redacted] The defective shirt was White & Blue Polka Dot CX054WBLDesired Settlement: I ordered four shirts but I ended up having only 3 shirts because I sent one shirt back to Charles Tyrwhitt. I need refund of my money for the fourth shirt or send me a replacement shirt for White & Blue Polka Dot CX054WBL (Medium)

Review: This company has been sending me a significant amount of mailings over the last two years. The company does not make clothing in my size and I have no interest in any way, shape or form in receiving the company's solicitations, so I have requested on a number of occasions that they permanently remove me from their mailing list. However, the company has failed to do so, and continues to send mail. I have email documentation from them responding to emails of mine in November 2013 and February 2014 confirming that they would remove me from their mailing list.Desired Settlement: (1) Permanent removal of my name and address from their mailing list

(2) Written confirmation (including the full name and contact information of someone at the company) that this has been done.

Review: I bought five shirts online and when I didn't like the fit, I took them to the store at [redacted] to have them exchanged. I was told because I bought them online, an exchange could not be made. Instead, Instead of an exchange, the shirts had to be returned by the store to Charles Tyrwhitt Online (i.e. the warehouse) and I had to pay for five new ones in the store. Once the returns are acknowledged by Charles Tyrwhitt Online, the original $250 I had paid for the shirts would be returned to me. So now I'm out $500 for five shirts. The trouble is the customer service rep in the store mistakenly charges me an extra $250 because she swiped my credit card twice. So now I'm out $750 for five shirts! When I notified the manager, I was assured if indeed there had been a double charge, the mistake would be rectified. I emailed the manager of the store ([redacted]) twice and when I didn't get a response I called the store two weeks ago. He assured me the funds would be returned to my account. It's six weeks since I made the purchase. Charles Tyrwhitt Online has refunded the $250 but the store at [redacted] still hasn't.Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: The company refuses to send the appropriate product. They claim that they do not have it in Stock.however the Dame product was confirmed available in Stock by a staff member of the company a day before their refusal to ship it. The order involves 9 men's dress shirts. I offered to pick alternate shirts which were "available"they wouldn't let me do that.total of 6 weeks of run around. . Unprofessional staff and the company not respecting their advertised price as reason of not shipping the requested orderDesired Settlement: The company should allow me to pick 9 shirts from the catalog. For the grievance caused and to prevent any further foul play this should not be limited to any specific sub group but ANY shirts from their website

Review: I have purchased Charles Tyrwhitt shirts for many years under the assumption that the products are British. In a recent catalog from them they advertise the following:

"Proper British Shirts"

"Immaculately Crafted British Shirts"

"Charles Tyrwhitt" "is a small but passionate British shirt maker"

"Discover British Quality For Less"

Along with a theme of Union Flags, scenes of London, etc.

The only mention of country of origin they mention is "Imported" - which would make sense as these are supposed to be British shirts.

I made a call to them ([redacted]) clarify the origin of their shirts. I was connected to their call center in [redacted], England. I was told that they did not know where exactly the shirts come from, but probably Italy. On searching the internet it appears that they source globally. This puts in question the statement that they are a shirt maker as it does not sound like they make anything.

I feel that this is false advertising and I have ended up with many shirts that had I known they were not British I would not have purchased. Customers (like me) who are under the impression they are buying a quality British shirt from a small passionate shirt maker are, it seems not doing either.Desired Settlement: I would like Charles Tyrwhitt to cease all advertising communications as I feel they are currently misleading. They should write to all customers they have sold to in the United States offering a refund if they feel they have been mislead. I would also like to see complete transparency in their supply chain for each product so the consumer can make an informed decision as to whether they wish to buy.

Review: I am trying to even exchange 2 shirts for a smaller size. I was unable to do this in store as I did not present a receipt. I was told that I can contact customer service who will be able to provide a receipt/proof of purchase (purchase was made on CC) and I will be able to go back to store and proceed with the exchange. I receieved email confirmation of my purchase from CT customer service 2 days later. Upon returning to the store with confirmation and reference numbers in CT's customer service database it was not accepted. I was then told the ONLY way this has can be resolved is to have both shirts shipped to London where they will be accepted and after a refund will be given. It has been over 2 weeks since this has occurred and despite following up with the store, I receive no response or acknowledgement that my shirts have been shipped or received. I am now out of pocket and out of product.Desired Settlement: even exchange
