Love the products, but customer appeciation discounts are misleading
Just placed my 2nd order - which I would have done anyway - but the promotional voucher they sent me did not survive their own "fine print"! What marketing giveth, the lawyers taketh away. Why even bother?
The company's FAQ explanation: "From time to time, our generous Founder Nick Wheeler may send out a voucher to you as a "Thank you" for giving us your custom. These are unique to each customer and have a specific voucher code which needs to be entered in the "Apply an Offer Code" box in your shopping basket."
But then...excuses and exceptions, blah blah, blah. All that happens is that customer expectations are artificially raised, only to be disappointed at checkout. This does more harm to the business than good, I think.
I still like the products, but management needs to rethink this approach to customer relations.
I ordered three white dress shirts and paid extra for monogramming. The shirts came with white letters. The customer service department stated that I paid extra and ordered white for monogramming.. has anyone in the history of the world ever ordered monograms in white for a white dress shirt? The least amount of customer service would be to refund the cost of monogramming and the smartest and best customer service option would be to replace the shirts with monogramming colors that are visible. This company chose to do neither. That's horrific customer service! I would not recommend ordering from this company. There are many other companies out there that do a better job and customer service including Paul Frederick where I have ordered shirts in the past.
