Good Morning,
We received your letter of April 21, and wished to respond. The notes in our file for *** *** *** indicate that we sent him some patch tape and charged $plus shipping, for a total of $44.41. Mr*** used all the tape (likely it was put on in
cold weather, and probably wet or damp given the customer's location), and this will not allow the adhesive properties of the tape to work. Had the greenhouse cover material been brought inside and warmed up, and the tape was applied in a warm, dry location, the tape would have worked fine. Or, waiting for some warm, dry weather would have made a difference in how the tape adhered.
Despite using all of the tape, we agreed to refund the price of the tape itself, and this was considered a fair resolution. I am not aware of any calls being disconnected, and that would be very inconsistent with our staff and our standards
We are very saddened by the experience Mr*** had, and this is not in keeping with the high standards of our company. This was quite unusual, and again the tape not adhering was likely due to the wet, cold weather application timing
