[redacted] was in on 9/2/14 for a coolant service and an oil change. Our process for an oil change involves inspecting the condition and pressure of the tires. If there was an issue with a leaking tire during this oil change we would have notified [redacted] so that it could be... addressed at that time. No such condition existed on 9/2/14. On 9/8/14 [redacted] returned with a tire issue. During our inspection of the vehicles tires we discovered that one front tire had a puncture in the side wall of the tire, and the other had a cut but was not leaking. Between 9/2 and 9/8 the vehicle had traveled 180 miles according to our documentation, and it is my professional opinion that between 9/2 and 9/5 the two front tires were exposed or driven through some form of road hazard most likely not visible to [redacted] . That being said I do apologize for the confusion that [redacted] experienced on 9/6/14 and I have attempted to contact him on both 9/12/14 at 4pm, and again on 9/16 at 12:40pm to offer to refund the replacement of the tire. [redacted] has been a valued customer of my service dept. since Aug 2013 and I would like to see our partnership continue. Northtown works very hard to provide the very best in customer service, and if [redacted] feels we owe him a tire, then I would be glad to provide a refund. I can be reached at 716-692-7000 ext. 120.
