He looked at my lamp and explained to me how it could be repaired, but the cost of repairing it would be a lot more than purchasing a new lamp. I appreciated his honestly. Not only did he perform the electrical work, he went beyond the call of duty we think pulled the stove from the wall found and removed rodents, cleaned the floor and wall behind the stove. Not only that he was efficient, courteous, prompt (arrived the time that had been told to us). Needless to say, we will be calling them anytime we need electrical work done and plan to refer them to our friends in case they need electrical service.
I called Volt Doctors on a Monday morning to request service... and they sent out a technician that same afternoon!
[redacted] was the electrician and he completed two minor service items quickly and efficiently. He then tackled the larger service item... related to an outdoor motor and breaker service system. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and made all the necessary arrangements, including permit acquisition, to effect the needed repairs, which included installing a new breaker service unit (fuse box and breakers), digging out the old conduit and laying new conduit/wiring underground and into an outdoor motor housing unit, and installing a new disconnect unit for the motor.
He returned two days later, as soon as the permit was granted, and completed all the needed repairs. He was very conscientious about returning the work site to its original condition and cleared the work area of all debris. The inspection was accomplished ASAP; the inspector even was impressed with [redacted] work and commented explicitly about the high quality of the work he'd done.
[redacted] was extremely professional and also very courteous. He answered all my questions thoroughly and updated me frequently throughout the entire work period. Before leaving, he made sure I understood exactly how to access the new system, including the new breaker service unit and disconnect. I am much better informed about the electrical service systems for our house than I was prior to his visits... which makes me a better, more informed homeowner.
I am grateful for his expertise, knowledge and professional manner.
