Review: I have insurance and they stated that my insurance only pays a small portion of my bill. I paid 120.00 at the time of my eye exam. My insurance paid 40.00 because it is out-of-network. I then received a bill for an additional 77.25. When I called to inquire why the bill was close to 250.00 the employee was not helpful. She could not or would not explain to the charges. She was very rude and not specific. I wanted an bill that showed the charges and why the cost has doubled from the year before. However she could not provide that information and she was from the billing department.Desired Settlement: I want to understand why the cost is so high. I have co-workers with the same insurance and they pay about a fourth of what they are charging. I want to see a explanation of the charges and not just a bill. I feel that since the employee could not explain this to me that it improper or incorrect billing.
