We are in receipt of the complaint from MrDavid ***. He asked us to put his medical bill on hold for days, which we have done, and we have sent over the medical record to United Health care to review. At this time there is no further action required from Mr***.
We hope to receive payment or more requests from United Health care in the next days. We have no notes that United Healthcare called into our office

Re: Complaint ID #***To Whom It May Concern:We regret and apologize for any inconvenience or discrimination perceived by Ms*** during her visit to our hospitalI can assure you that was never our intent and we certainly would never discriminate against her or any clientWe were able to
speak with Ms*** on 8/11/and explained our general procedure for moving patients and their owners into an exam room to minimize the number of pets in the waiting areaThis is done to reduce stress and anxiety which is inherent in a visit to the veterinarian.Emergencies at our animal hospital are not unlike that experienced on the human side and we too prioritize patients based on their conditionMs***’s pet was triaged and determined to be stable, so more critical cases were seen that unfortunately extended her wait timeWe are sorry if we failed to communicate that clearlyWe absolutely would have taken her pet, or any pet, over others that were waiting if it were deemed critical.We also explained that we lock our door every night at the same time for the safety of our employees and clients, and clients are given access through our intercom and security systemWe announce to clients that the door is being locked for those that need to leave and return into our buildingThis occurred at the same time that Ms*** was leaving.I believe my conversation with Ms*** was amicable and productive and believe we addressed her concerns, if not, I am certainly happy to speak with her further.Sincerely,Heather P*** Hospital Manager

Too bad I had to take action against them to begin withUnprofessional, rude, and just wrong to say I have to pay itWhen they never responded to unitedThis is harassmentAs instated beforeThis is there practiceTo screw people out of big bucksWhen they don't want to cooperate with ins companiesI hope there bill collectors some day go through this harassment on a human levelEspecially when they just had major surgery weeks ago
