I rented a car from this agency via my Travel Agent (Bj's), and had the WORST experience ever from a car rental companyThe car was filthy inside and out and I was charged for Roadside assistance even though I expressly told them I did not want it The service was essentially non-existent and even though I received my overcharged amount back, I will never do business with this company or it's related companies

I rented a vehicle, called two three times to get help and was yelled at, not helped and now when I called at late night I had to call three times, got busy signal and the rates kept going up and up and up and he then said to go to the site where they charged me more nd then keep increasing...too bad he didn't get it!!!! so sad!!!!!

We are gearing up for our car return The pick up was horrible No shuttle ever arrived at the airport to bring us to Payless Rent A Car We had to use the shuttle from the rent a car WE SHOULD OF gone with Once there we were in a long line with a long wait only to be treated unprofessionally and badgered about getting additional insurance Everything the previous reviews were are correct I hope I can write a positive review about the return tomorrow but I don't expect one I can tell you, you get what you pay for! Less is not always the best And we all learn the hard way I wouldn't mind as much but my yr old Mom had to go through this horrible process as well!!

What an awful experience! Yes they have low rates, but I hadn't prepared myself to feel bludgeoned and bullied by the counter agent for not buying a bigger car and a tank of gas in advance.

I was told if I didn't buy the tank of gas in advance, I'd have to:
1) return the tank full, (which I always do).

2) bring in A RECEIPT, PROVING THE GAS IS FROM LESS THAN 3 MILES AWAY. Otherwise I'll be "penalized". She then told me all the gas nearby is really expensive, and if I was smart, I'd just save money by buying the tankful from them. I told her I'd prefer to be stupid than buy a tank full of gas, knowing I only use a third of a tank. This was met with a curt smile of contempt.

"Janet"at the Las Vegas airport counter also attempted to shame me for driving an intermediate-sized car, saying I was too tall for it, and "I guess you like driving with your head sticking out the window."

I was charged a $31.20 fee for Road Side service even though I told the agent that I did not want anything additional. I didn't notice the charge at the time of signing and afterwards I contacted Customer Support and they refused to credit my account.

It appears you have received 100% Negative reviews on Payless Car Rental, Gillespie St. Is there nothing you can do about them? They quoted us $181.45, but I was charged $356.83 before paying for extra fuel. My husband reviewed the contract and said they charged me extra insurance when I specifically told the Hispanic employee "No" to extra insurance. I appreciate that you have this site available. It confirms that I will never return to Payless, and other customers have experienced the same thing. This definitely discourages me from returning to Las Vegas and encourages me to look elsewhere to spend my vacation money. Please do something about this business. Thank you.
