Review: I dined at Charrito's with a friend on the evening of November 6. We had a decent enough meal, but were both horrified yesterday to find that one of the servers inflated the tip on both of our credit receipts ($6, inflated to $16 for both of us, making a nice, unearned extra $20 tip), after we signed for what we thought was the total bill. The manager of this location could not have cared less about this serious issue. After calling four times yesterday (7 phone calls in total if you count my friend who was also stolen from) and being told that the manager was either not available or "busy on the other line", and never receiving a call back, I finally was able to speak to her. She blamed me for her employees' theft, stating that I "must have added wrong" and "the servers don't have time to check math". She never apologized or showed any remorse for the illegal action of her employees; even after I pointed out that she never apologized -- still no apology. In fact, instead of dealing with me directly, she instructed a hostess to gather my credit information. It's not very comforting to give out my financial information to an employee, not management, who works on a staff that had just stolen money from that account. I don't think I need to tell you how grossly unprofessional this is.Frankly, my friend and I were taken advantage of and stolen from and I absolutely do not trust this manager to settle our issues. We have both disputed the charge with our respective banks/credit companies, but this manager's refusal to deal with or even apologize for her employee's theft makes her look incredibly suspicious herself. We simply want an apology and acknowledgement that the responsible employee (or manager, who knows) is being dealt with. This inept and rude manager could not/refused to provide either of these very basic customer services, which is shocking.Desired Settlement: The manager stated that we will both get refunds in 3-5 business days, but this woman was so horrifically rude and incompetent, I don't believe that for a second. My friend and I simply want to be refunded our stolen money (we should honestly get the stupid meal refunded as well, just for having to deal with this, but I digress) and an apology.
