In July someone giving me the name of Tiffany working for charter gave me a "guaranteed" rate of apprx $per month for years for the package I receivedMy bank records show that I have been paying $per month since the original installation fees were paid (months $143.48)Now I get a notice that it has increased to $due on 6/26/When I called charter I was informed that they have no record of the guaranteeI will be shopping for a new provider immediatelyI had to threaten them with court action several years ago when they changed my account number times without informing me so I should have known better than to try them againAVOID CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS.!!!

I have a college student moving into an apartment in Reno Finances are extremely tight We called the first time to detemine the best and least expensive package I was very clear that price was a main concern At that time, even though I asked if I had all the charges, installation fees were not mentioned or given My husband called back to order the services and reviewed the outlined costs and again installation fees were not included They arrived and installed wireless and tv and there was no mention of installation or fees The first time was the $extra on the bill They will not remove the charge and say that it is a standard fee Quotes or order confirmation should be a written contract There should be NO unexpected charges ever!

Great prices and even better service! year customer who has been amazed that Keith, one of the mechanics, will stay late or work a weekend to get my car back as quickly as possible I've never had to return for the same problem,always fixed right the first time!

I had *** for one day than cancelled it due to lies the company said about what channels they had I disconnected it on 08/15/however they did not cancel it that day they had to wait until the phone lines from *** were transferred over This was done within their day period in which you can be refunded your money They charged my credit card on 08/03/in the amount of and on 08/01/in the amount of Both these amount were refunded to me The was refunded on 09/05/and the was refunded on 09/14/ As of the date of the total refund, this account was settled in full However on 10/03/I received a collection notice from *** stating I owed *** Sorry to say, but *** has not given me a solution and the recovery company is not competent to answer questions All they say is they will put it that I disputed it and will not be notified me of any solutions

When I originally signed up for service with TWC, an offer was made for a *** gift card of *** after completing a successful probation period with satisfactory payment history There were other requirements stipulated, and completed on April to which TWC sent complainant an email to said effect, stating that the card would be shipped in to weeks
*** uses a secondary outsource to fulfill the function of shipping the *** gift cardsMy service address and my mailing address are different, which is noted on my account, and bills for my account arrive at my mailing addressWhy is this important; because *** provided the service address to the fulfillment center, which is where the *** card was shipped Alas, there is not mail delivery to the service addressWhen I contacted TWC after non-receipt of the *** card, I was directed to the fulfillment center, which after numerous phone calls led to being informed that the *** card would be reissued eventually, but there was some issue as "charges" had been placed against the number associated with the card shipped to my service address
I did not, nor do I perceive the issue with the shipping of the *** card to the wrong address as my issue, as at the time of acquiring service from TWC, I provided the correct address for service and mail to TWC, and I provided the distinction between the twoTWC in subsequent phone calls offered to make good on their offer by offering a credit to my account in the form of *** (plus tax) to negate the inconvenienceThis occurred in August Each subsequent month, this amount has been changed in the billing account: either totally eliminated or diminished When asked for an email to confirm changes, and admission of responsibility, *** CSR standard response is "unable to send an email, can only make phone calls."
At this point, it is the principle more than any thing elseI find that TWC/Spectrum's billing department is most nefarious and disreputable based on this handling of my account

I have been a Charter customer for about 5 years now, I started off with internet and cable. I ended up canceling my Cable after buying a PPV boxing fight in which around 40 people left my home disappointed because the fight went out due to the cable provider having issues. Now these last 2 years I have been calling complaining about my Internet signal being very poor every day. I have called complaining about my signal at least 20 times now. They have sent out technicians about 3 times and every time they leave supposedly fixing the problem and blaming the issue on the previous guy. Today I called once again because the internet wasn't working...After 5 years they realize I have not had the Wifi service activated.....AFTER 5 YEARS... I ran out of room but I ended up cancelling this worthless provider.

My bank records show that I have been paying $143.48 per month since the original installation fees were paid (8 months $143.48). Now I get a notice that it has increased to $152.21 due on 6/26/2016. When I called charter I was informed that they have no record of the guarantee. I will be shopping for a new provider immediately. I had to threaten them with court action several years ago when they changed my account number 3 times without informing me so I should have known better than to try them again. AVOID CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS.!!!

I hate to say it because number one I like watching television and number two I like the Internet charter is absolutely a horrible company with a nonexistent customer service department. For starters, I have been a customer for 15 years and have been trying to get one of the new DVR boxes for a year now. Unfortunately they tell me there is no way to call to see if they have one in stock, which they never do. I am also told there is no way to put my name on a waiting list so I am stuck with my very outdated low storage drive DVR. So I was told I need to take in my old DVR each time and if they have one in stock they will exchange it with my older DVR. So that means every couple of days I have to unplug my DVR go down and wait in line for them to tell me they do not have one. Way to treat a 15+ year customer. My other issue is many HD channels usually ones that are sister companies of discovery channel, animal planet etc. have a horrible picture and volume is sketchy and goes in and out quite often. My other issue is it really necessary to have the emergency broadcast system test (which clearly states we are conducting a MONTHLY test) every couple of days? The one that came on today naturally right during prime time was for an alert in a city 12 hours from where I live and be emergency broadcast system black screen stayed on the TV for a total of 12 minutes. Just ridiculous!!
