Took check never completed jobWe hired Charter Electric to install a ballast in our kitchen light. While he did a good job installing in the kitchen he convinced me he could do the 4 fans we were having another company install that day. They installed 3 that day and told me he would be back the following day to install the fourth fan. So we wrote him a check for the ballast and to install the 4 fans.He never showed up the next day so I waited the weekend since it was Friday and called first thing Monday morning. He told me his guys were coming in from an out of town job and would be there first thing to finish it up. They never showed up. Now he isnt returning phone calls. IF they make it right I will edit my rating but as of now I would't hire this companyDesired SettlementRefund money for fourth fan installation as I am going to have to hire someone who will actually do it

Paul can't keep his word and is full of excuses. I had some issues with my outlets and they rerecorded that I replace my panel. They promised to finish the job that day and since I had a busy schedule, I went ahead and paid them the $1400 they had asked for. They left and never showed up for a week. They finally showed up after numerous calls, replaced the panels but did not check if it resolved the issue. Unfortunately it did not so I had to call Paul back and ask him to send his folks back. He promised to send somebody but nobody showed up. He even promised to check it himself but he did not show up either. He kept making promises and breaking them for a about a month hence I fired them and hired somebody else to finish the work. Paul eventually promised to do some free electrical work for me in the future but I politely turned his offer down. I will not hire these guys do do for me any work in the future or recommend them to anybody.","neg-1

Experiencing electrical issues after two weeks after service completed by [redacted] Electric and no one has come by to repair the problem & no call back-Unreliable, Full of excuses and lies, Would not recommendI recently had some electrical work done to my mother's home and [redacted]) recommended that we get new circuits installed. We paid half the money up front ($625) and he came the next day, did the work and we paid the remaining balance ($624.50) once the work was completed. About two weeks after the work was done, my mother began to experience problems with the electricity (the dryer and central air unit would not come on). When I first contacted him, he said that his brother was severely ill and was unable to come. A week later, my brother called him, he said that he would come by and never showed up. My brother called him again, and he mentioned that he was out of town and will come by when he returns. He never showed up. I contacted him the next day, and [redacted] said that one of his associates would come by, but the person never showed up. I called [redacted], my brother called [redacted] and my mother called [redacted] the day after that. He said that he would return to take care of the problem himself, but never showed up. I reached out to him again, and he never returned my call (or text). Based the company policy, we have a one-year warranty on the service/work that they completed and no one has called us back.Desired SettlementA refund of 50% of the amount we paid to get the service done.Business Response Based on a conversation the Revdex.com had with the company, Mr. [redacted] states that the issue is not with the electrical work performed but with the dryer itself.

I was told I had a one year warranty on service.Had problems & after numerous promises, he has never shown up.[redacted] came to make repairs after a lightening strike. He gave an estimate, returned to do the work, repairs lasted 45 minutes and I paid him $300.00 cash. Invoice number XXXXXX, with no date included, but approximately July 29, 2013. About a week afterwards problems were apparent. I called numerous times before he returned my call, but he finally answered a call and made an appointment to come but DID NOT show. After many more calls other appointments were made and still he DID NOT come out or even phone to offer an explanation. No resolution to this problem as of time of this complaint, September 6, 2013. He will not answer my phone calls.Desired SettlementFix the problem immediately or full refund!Business Response [redacted] called me out to repair wiring in his garage and I did so. I estimated 700 to troubleshoot multiple circuits and when I worked on the circuit there was nothing wrong with wiring so I only charged him for my time. The lightning had damaged one of the machines and so there is no need for me to come back out. I explained to him why so he has no complaint. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Every time I turn machines on in my shop the circuit breaker would be thrown - there is a short in the wiring. After repeated calls and never showing up, I called another electrician who came out and fixed the problem. Also, when checking the wiring on the power vent in the attic, he made a hole in the ceiling that I did not discover until later. Will accept nothing less than full refund.Final Business Response THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE GUYS WIRING!!! THE LIGHNING FRIED HIS MACHINES!!!
