Chase Bank

We recently had Granite Direct install granite on our kitchen counters. Ray was very honest and upfront in every step of the procedure. When a problem arose he took steps to help us work through it. The installers were professional and did a good job. They arrived on time and took time to explain things and to clean up at the end. The price was reasonable and the product satisfactory.

Review: On 8/28/13 Chase closed my account with no explanation. On 8/29/13 my direct deposit was sent to my account, I called Chase who told me to take 2 forms of ID to my local bank branch to withdraw my balance. On 9/3/13 I went to the Chase branch and was told the money would not be available until 9/4/13 due to the pending closure of my account, on 9/4/13 I returned to the branch and was told by the bank manager my direct deposit had been returned to my employer and I needed to contact the directly. I contacted my employer who stated that no money had not been returned. I again contacted Chase who again stated I need to return to the branch with two forms of I'd to receive my balance. I just left the Chase branch only to find out they have mailed me a check for my balance. They did not include the $68 the owed me.Desired Settlement: U want my remaining balance immediately and the $68 that it owed to me. In addition I would like a written apology from Chase regarding the incorrect information I have been given.

Review: I had been a member with chase bank for almost a year, my account has NEVER been overdrawn and have always stayed in good standing. I used my chase liquid card to pay all my online bills and went in to pay my rent through their cashiers checks ( which I payed an 8$ fee every time I did) I only had a debit account no credit. Today I went to use my card and it was declined, I was very surprised because I just deposited 300.00 cash into my account yesterday? So I went to my local branch and they told me for some reason my account is being closed due to possible future threat to the bank and my money won't be given back to me now for four to five weeks!!! I was completely shocked, the branch manager and all chase employees could give me NO reason for my account being terminated and could tell me nothing else. There's no way a bank can do this to people!! They closed my perfect standing account that I use for everything and not only that but they are keeping my 300.00 ( on the fifth of the month mind you!) and I don't get MY MONEY back now for over a month!? I refuse to believe this is how a buisness is allowed to treat people and your bank can just take your money and give you not even one reason. I've never ever been treated so badly from a bank and advise people to be careful banking with chase. One day you might wake up and find that they've decided to cancel you and take your money and when you ask why you will be shunned.Desired Settlement: 235.00
