October 14, 2015Dear *** ***,In response to complaint ID *** submitted by *** *** *** we would like to apologize that *** *** feels as though he was overcharged for the gutter cover add on to his roofing jobWe feel that the price was fair.We do not normally do gutter covers on
our roofing jobs but we were generous enough to accommodate *** ***'s last minute request to the best of our ability*** *** requested this add on when we were nearly done the roofing work, at approximately 3:pm on the date of the InstallDue to this late request, in order to accommodate customer, I was pressured to personally rush to our supplier to obtain the materialsOur installers were forced to not only wait for my return but to work late that day to finish the workObviously, due to the last minute nature of the request, we were not afforded the luxury of time to pre-negotiate the labor rate for this portion of the Installation nor were we able to take the time to comparison shop the material.Ultimately, before this work was done, the price of $1,was provided to the customer for the work, he agreed to this price, the work was performed and the customer paid us according to our agreementWhile we, once again, are very sorry that *** *** feels he was overcharged, we do not agreeThere is absolutely no way that we can afford to refund *** *** $without losing money on this last minute add on to our jobWe would never have agreed to do this work for the price of $and do not feel that it is reasonable for *** *** now to expect us to return 43.4% of our agreed upon contract price after the work has already been done, and the expenses already Incurred by our companyObviously at the time of our price negotiation *** *** did feel that the price of $1,was fair, otherwise he would not have agreed to the price and we would have simply not added the gutter cover installation on to our contract with him*** *** was not pressured in any way to have us Install the gutter covers on his home and was always welcome to shop our price against any other contractor he wished to consider.Of course, like all of our work, we stand behind our gutter cover installation at *** ***'s property and will be available to meet any service needs that may arise from the Installation In accordance with our warranty.In closing, I would like to say that we will be happy to take the time to consider any response that *** *** feels prompted to send through the Revdex.com but that we will continue not to respond to any additional threatening voice messages left by himWe consider ourselves to be professional and always endeavor to be respectful In our communications with others and expect the same in return In their communications with us.Sincerely,Brian F
