Good morning, We first heard of this complaint on Thursday June 2016, I Penny *** spoke with Ms*** ***She stressed that her membership payment came out before her mortgage and left her account insufficient for
her mortgageMs*** then went on to tell me that she had made a call sometime in April to cancel her membership I asked whom she had spoke with and she couldn't rememberI looked up her account as we talked on the phone and realized she had signed up for a year contract at $29.25/month which was a promotion we were running back in November of I apologized and informed her that she had a contract with us and the only way to cancel is to pay the remainder of the balance which is stated in our contract or just continue with the monthly debitShe then explained to me that when she signed up, her daughter was involved in a local organization here in Chatham and now her daughter no longer belongs to the group, they do not get to Chatham as muchAgain, I apologized and she then asked I could have one of the owners give her a call back and I said absolutely but that it would not be until Monday June 6th, she said okayWhen I received the e-mail on Friday the 3rd I figured we probably shouldn't continue the contact until We had further notice from the Revdex.com.When a potential member shows interest in our gym it is custom we give them a tour of our facility and we go down the list of classes we offer and inform them of the additional fee/classWe are a Family owned Fitness facility and have been in business for over fourteen years, this is our first complaint.If We could have a fax number we would be happy to supply you with a copy of the contractI await a response on how we should proceedThank you in advance

In yesterday's mail we received two letters, one from [redacted] and the other from her sister [redacted], both in regards to cancelling their membership. Although we have signed contracts from these individuals, we believe it is in our best interest to just dissolve the partnership.Their memberships were cancelled as of today June 21, 2016.Thank you,Penny [redacted]Chatham Body Works[redacted]
