Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.We have received a partial refund of $for some of the parts, however when I spoke with owner(11/29/2017) about how the issue could be completely resolved I asked that we be fully refunded for the parts .We believe that the radiator that was installed by Auto Diagnostics was faulty and not properly installed due to a second inspection and repair which were completed at another auto shop Also when the car was dropped off the issue had been explained about the problem the car was having and Mark ruled out any other factors contributing to the car over heating besides it being the radiator as it has brought to my attention that if it had been anything else it would be counter productive to replace the radiator first Regards, Essence [redacted]
This is in response to Mr Alex [redacted] Lexus GXcooling issue problem.(Auto Diagnostics invoice# [redacted] dated 9/18/2017)The customers complaint was there was steam from the thermostat housing while driving along with the temp gauge risingUpon inspection it was observed there was several coolant leaks and the radiator was cobbled together with a glue or epoxy not allowing a pressure testIt was explained that this is going to be the first step in determining the coolant issuePermission was granted to replace the radiatorAt end of day Mr [redacted] picked up the vehicleWe were informed they needed to replace the radiator again (at a different shop) Claiming the radiator was defective and asked for a refundI explained we need the old radiator returned so they the company that sold me the radiator could do the proper testing to determine the cause of the failureI was informed by the vender that the inside of the radiator was melted along with the coolant recovery tank cap indicating extreamly hot exhaust gasses from the head are being emitted into coolantThe customer was informed that the radiator was the first stepThe Vender is 1-800-radiator for any proofI am sorry the customer is having issues however when customer stopped in initially he also mentioned that he thought there was a head issuerThis issue has nothing to do with defective parts or labor it has to do with a engine problemPlease call if any questions and also please remove any negative comments Sincerely Mark [redacted] , MGR Auto Diagnosticss
We believe that the new radiator was damaged by an engine overheating condition We want Ms [redacted] and Mr [redacted] to be able to pursue the additional repairs required to fix the problemMs [redacted] and Mr [redacted] accepted a refund of $by company check
