My name is Diana N***I am representing as an employee from Chau's NailsTo whom may concern, I am responding to a letter that we had received in regards to a complaint made by *** ***, ID #***.would like to respond with our side of the situationWe tried to resolve the situation
given the opportunityWe tried to reason with the customer and gave her discounts on top of all the service she had originally came in for.She originally came in for TAKE OFF and GEL COLOR FULL SETAs you can see I've attached along with this letter, original copies of the pictures for both the Price List and Chau's Nails Menu and also, photo taken of our price list (same copy) and the laminated paper hand out that the customer had mentioned previously in her letterAs you can see, the price list both stated Take off Gel Manicure/Acrylic-Sand a Full Set Gel Color SShe had also inquired about the Spa Pedicure-SWe were more than willing to work for her for a good deal and discountGiven her entire bill would've been $Instead, he quoted her and gave her a big discount coming to a total of $The "foreign male" proceed to give her a discount given she is taking off acrylic, and also a discount on her spa pedicureShe then continues to ask him numerous questions about the price, 'why are you so expensive?', 'how much would it be for a manicure?"why is it a different price?"He continues to answer all of her questions accordinglyIt though seems the more questions about the price she asks, the more upset she became over the situation.*** Continues to ask why are the prices on the sign different from the prices he is giving herAs you can she, with different service, there are obviously different pricesEither way, whatever she would've gotten in the service, it would still cost $to take off and which ever service she had decided to continue with. She had originally only asked for the owner, not the managerin which he responded with “the owner is not here”Continues to tell her if she wants to speak to anyone she can speak to herIn which he points to meShe referred to me as "the foreign female coworker”I then asked what can I help her with? She continues to still gotten the discount IF AND ONLY if she wished to receive the service she had originally came in for. Kristi then hnd try to talk to him while I am trying to answer her questions and work on my own customersI told her I am not the owner nor am the managerI am simply just an employee that just wanted to resolve the situationI then proceed to tell her how the pricing went and how he tried to give her a discount.Her whole demeanor changedShe got angry and upsetWe asked her if she still wanted the service and she told us she would not pay that priceWe could've called the police for someone who already received the service and did not wish to pay butinstead we let her go to ease the situationWe didn't want to argue, we didn't want to have a customer, who was working on while the whole situation was going on, she can be contacted and if needed to be spoken to if you have any further questions*** *** will tell you how her whole demeanor shiftedHow we tried to explain to her about the situationFurthermore, we tried to assist the situation but had gone nowhereWe just let her goHer name is *** *** and she can be reached at ***continue to encourage my co workers to work and deal with customers like these in these situations to the best of their knowledgeAs you can tell our frustration and We lost business due to some misunderstandingYet, we don't complain and continue to move forward and not backwards with the situationIf you have any questions regarding this situation, please feel free to call me at ***Sincerely,Chau's Nails
