The Koa is accusing our campsite of being loud and using profanity well into the late hoursThis is a accusation and they have mixed us up with another siteIn which I mentioned must be the issue when I tried to resolve this issueWe did have a visitor that we were unaware of not signing in which we apologized for and when we were told by Anita that the guest hours were closing they politely leftThe next evening without any idea that we would be accused of profanity and being loud we were asked to leaveI was baffled due to the fact we had spent the day at the pool and made a purchase in the front office, having many encounters with Anita that were friendly and would not lead me to believe that at 6:pm we would be forced to leave and threatened to have the sheriffs calledAs this all occurred Anita and Bill were using profa

The Koa is accusing our campsite of being loud and using profanity well into the late hours. This is a false accusation and they have mixed us up with another site. In which I mentioned must be the issue when I tried to resolve this issue. We did have a visitor that we were unaware of not signing in which we apologized for and when we were told by Anita that the guest hours were closing they politely left. The next evening without any idea that we would be accused of profanity and being loud we were asked to leave. I was baffled due to the fact we had spent the day at the pool and made a purchase in the front office, having many encounters with Anita that were friendly and would not lead me to believe that at 6:30 pm we would be forced to leave and threatened to have the sheriffs called. CHAUTAUQUA LAKE KOA5652 Thum RoadDewittville, N.Y. 14728www.chautauqualakekoa.com [email protected] Revdex.com,In response to the complaint ID [redacted], We are sorry that the customer is not telling the true facts as to make it look like she is an ideal camper. Yes she was correct that they spent the day in the pool area, and yes I was friendly as I am with our guest. Her Parents came in to visit and we didn't have a problem with that. The complaint we received from other guest was profanity at their site mostly a male voice we assumed that this was from their guest they had over night and that is why I told him Sunday afternoon when he came it to register to spend the night, that he wasn't allowed to come back and spend another night in our park. I also told him why. That is when the problem escaladed, he texted her and told her he couldn't come in and she came across the parking lot yelling and screaming. When I tried to explain, she began threatening me and that is when Bill came out of the garage area and told her she needed to watch her language or she too would be asked to leave. She proceeded to calling him as well as myself names and Bill them told her she was no longer welcome and to have her stuff packed and off the property in 30 min. We walked away! Afew minutes later her 2nd adult in her party came into the office and began demanding a refund. I called Bill into the office and when she started calling him a horrible name he said, I will not consider it now after your actions. Please leave"! They left the park at 7pm.When someone is told they can't do something, they in turn go on the defense and things tend to get ugly. We here at the campground have other guest and their families to think about. When a customer is told no or doesn't get their way here at the park and are reprimanded for not following the rules and procedure that they agreed to do when they checked in it, they claim they "didn't do anything wrong". People tend to forget that they are guest in a private park. They in turn didn't write the whole truth to you or any of the other review sites. We asked them to leave because of their abusiveness to us when we told them they couldn't have the certain guest back. Yes they broke other rules, had guest come in after hours without paying. When caught told they needed to leave, which they did, but the neighbors claimed that is when it got loud and thelanguage was turning ugly. When we walked around we didn't hear it, but the next morning the neighbor campers said it was pretty bad. We made a judgement call not to let the same visitor back in hopes that will solve the problem. The ideal situation would be if the camper called us when they were having the problem and not wait until the morning. We do what we feel is best for all parties involved. We have a beautiful park, Great reviews, many repeating customers, and look forward to many more years of helping people make great memories. Not everyone is going to like this setting, rules, or campground. Campers have a choice, they need to find what kind of campground they like and enjoy it. Not criticize the campground just cause they don't like it for themselves.Thank you for seeing both sides of this issue.Chautauqua Lake KOABill and Anita P[redacted]

[redacted] Complaint handler ext. [redacted]The Revdex.com100 Bryant Woods SouthAmherst, N.Y. 14228Dear [redacted]In response to the complaint that was brought against Chautauqua Lake KOA and the owners of this business. On Sunday August 23 we received a numerous amounts of complaints that the...

campsite L- 17 was very loud past the quiet hours the night before. They complained that they were yelling at each other and using profanity, well into the early morning hours.Saturday night after we closed the office and were starting our rounds we noticed that we had an extra car in the parking lot. Upon investigation we found out that they had visitors that didn't sign in but just walked in. We instructed them that they had to leave as they didn't have a visitor pass to be there. They already had 1 visitor who had gone through the proper procedure so we knew they knew they were responsible to sign in all visitors.Sunday afternoon the visitor that had signed in for Saturday night came back to sign in for Sunday night and because of all the issues the night before we instructed him that he wasn't allowed to come in. The camper [redacted] came up to the parking lot screaming at myself. "Why can't he come in?" I proceeded to tell her that we had numerous complaints about the loud noise the night before. Bill came out of the garage cause of all her yelling and she started in on him and swearing profanity at him. I started too walked away. Bill then told her she needed to watch her step or she too would be asked to leave. She yelled louder and worst stuff. Bill said pack up you have 1/2 hour to be out or we will call the police to escort you off the property.About 10 min later the second adult female that was renting this site came into the office and was yelling at me and telling me she wanted a refund. I called Bill to see if he would  authorize a refund, and she started yelling worse swear words than her friend did. Bill said well I was going to consider it but with that filthy mouth in our place of business the answer is no. We asked them to leave because they wouldn't stop screaming in the place of business. They wouldn't listen to anything. They are the ones that used profanity. We never once said any foul language. We have to consider other guest as well. We also had issues at the pool. The children wouldn't listen to our monitors when asked to stop jumping in the pool. They never signed in or out as asked too, which is required by us to be able to fill out our state reports. These folks were on a tent water electric site. The cost was $42 for Saturday and $41 for Sunday. The total that they paid was $83. When we have to ask someone to leave because of  bad behavior, or for breaking the rules we do not give a refund.
