Dear *** ***,I have been trying to send the response to you guys on the link that you guys provide and it wouldn't let meI am going to be sending it to you.***,First of all, the first month of the vehicle getting to his shop has little to nothing to do with the situation at handThe other month of him finding out who was going to pay him to do the job is only one monthIs that going to be his explanation for the months that he actually had the car to repair it? If he was going to be so backed up in work, why did he tell me that it was going to take months? Why didn’t he tell me to take it to another body shop, isn’t that the best thing to do? I made him pay a week, not two weeks of the rental car because he kept on telling me, “next week it should be done”, “Monday in the afternoon it should be ready”, “Next Thursday the car should be ready” etcThose days came and the car was still not readyI ended up being over $in debt because of the rental car because he could never finish the job.In his response he stated, “The customer brought the vehicle back to me after I finished the work”, the work was never actually complete rightThe paint does not match the rest of the car, the hood was never properly alignedAlso it is missing the stripes that go on each side of the carAnother thing that he needs to explain is why he left the car so dirty and did not fix the damages that he made on the carSomething that he really needs to explain is why he or his employees were playing with the fuse and broke itThe reason the lower body kit kept on getting damaged because the glue that he was using would not stick on rightThe first time the entire lower body kit came off and it was damagedHe did fix it however, he used the same glue the second timeI noticed that the glue was coming off again and I tried to go over and tell him that the glue was not workingHe tried to blame it on me, he said that I hit something that is why the lower body is loose. He still needs to explain why he was very rude to me and to my motherHe also needs to explain why he told so much time to get the parts to fix the vehicleHe also needs to explain why he left the gate open with no one being there to oversee the lot where he has the cars that he is working on.Since then I went to go take the car to an oil change at *** ** ***They were checking the car making sure that all of the fluids were fullWhen they checked the coolant, they noticed that it was lowThey tried to fill it up and the coolant fluid would not hold because it was missing a tube or some part that allows it to be fullThe employees told me that without that part the car it is very dangerous and it could explode, feel free to contact *** ** *** ***The last people that worked on the car was the employees at Chavez Auto RebuildersThis would be an example of negligence. Dear [redacted],I have been trying to send the response to you guys on the link that you guys provide and it wouldn't let me. I am going to be sending it to you.[redacted],First of all, the first month of the vehicle getting to his shop has little to nothing to do with the situation at hand. The other month of him finding out who was going to pay him to do the job is only one month. Is that going to be his explanation for the 5 months that he actually had the car to repair it? If he was going to be so backed up in work, why did he tell me that it was going to take 5 months? Why didn’t he tell me to take it to another body shop, isn’t that the best thing to do? I made him pay a week, not two weeks of the rental car because he kept on telling me, “next week it should be done”, “Monday in the afternoon it should be ready”, “Next Thursday the car should be ready” etc. Those days came and the car was still not ready. I ended up being over $2500 in debt because of the rental car because he could never finish the job.In his response he stated, “The customer brought the vehicle back to me after I finished the work”, the work was never actually complete right. The paint does not match the rest of the car, the hood was never properly aligned. Also it is missing the stripes that go on each side of the car. Another thing that he needs to explain is why he left the car so dirty and did not fix the damages that he made on the car. Something that he really needs to explain is why he or his employees were playing with the fuse and broke it. The reason the lower body kit kept on getting damaged because the glue that he was using would not stick on right. The first time the entire lower body kit came off and it was damaged. He did fix it however, he used the same glue the second time. I noticed that the glue was coming off again and I tried to go over and tell him that the glue was not working. He tried to blame it on me, he said that I hit something that is why the lower body is loose. He still needs to explain why he was very rude to me and to my mother. He also needs to explain why he told so much time to get the parts to fix the vehicle. He also needs to explain why he left the gate open with no one being there to oversee the lot where he has the cars that he is working on.Since then I went to go take the car to an oil change at [redacted]. They were checking the car making sure that all of the fluids were full. When they checked the coolant, they noticed that it was low. They tried to fill it up and the coolant fluid would not hold because it was missing a tube or some part that allows it to be full. The employees told me that without that part the car it is very dangerous and it could explode, feel free to contact [redacted]. The last people that worked on the car was the employees at Chavez Auto Rebuilders. This would be an example of negligence. Sincerely,[redacted]

[redacted]. First of all in the beginning it took the customer one month before he was able to get the vehicle to me and I had to have the vehicle towed to my shop in order for me to start working on the car. Secondly, there were issues with two different insurance companies, [redacted] and [redacted]. These two companies took one month going back and forth trying to determine liability and decide who was going to pay for the vehicle repairs. When I finally got an approved appraisal which was one month later from [redacted] I was very backed up with work at that point. I put the vehicle in our work order line but unfortunately then it was towards the end of the line. This was not my fault as I already had other work in progress that needed done. I communicated this to the customer. Due to the inconvenience I personally went out of my way and went above and beyond what I normally do and paid out of my own pocket,( which I didn't have to nor was required to ) for a rental vehicle for the customer for approximately 12 days costing me personally approximately $300. My good deeds don't stop here I then lend the customer my own personal truck to try and keep the customer satisfied with transportation and happy.
To this date I have not collected the $500 deductible from the customer. This money is still due and owed to me. The customer brought the vehicle back to me after I finished the work and the front bumper had heavy scratches like he hit a curb. I know damage to a vehicle when I see it but, I decided not to quest ion the customer and I just repaired it. Then two weeks later the customer returned with the same problem but with new fresh heavy scratches from what looked like and appeared to be from hitting the curb once again for the second time. The customer came in on a Friday and I told him to bring the car back once again on the following Monday so I could for the second time repair the car. explained I would need approximately 3 days at the very least to complete the work and he expected me to complete the work within a couple of hours in one work day which I explained is not possible. As for the mechanical issues that needs to be addressed by a mechanics shop not a body shop.  In conclusion, I warranty all of my work and have no problems fixing the car properly however I need the right amount of time to fix the car properly. I would require a minimum of 5 days to ensure adequate time. In addition I need to collect the $500 deductible before I will attempt to work on the car again. I will not provide substitute transportation either. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Regards, Luis Chavez
