I thought this was a good place to buy a used vehicle because I took my daughter there to get a car and it was a great experience plus she found a great car for her at a fair priceSix months later I sent my son there to purchase a carThey must have fired all the good people that were there six months previously because we didn't meet a single person who understood good customer serviceThe operator couldn't figure out how to work the hold button and disconnected me four timesThere was no apology, just her insisting that she wasn't disconnecting me even though I asked her why then do have to keep calling backI never did get a manager on the line, and had to show up there in personIt took four days for my son to buy a carthat in itself is unacceptable, but factor in that I had to share my car with him which means he drops me off at car pool, picks up his girlfriend and drives her to work in Plainfield, then drives to his work on the north side of IndyAfter work, he had to pick me up at home then drive to greenwood to attempt to close the deal at Indy HondaWe did this four times with no apology from the anyone at the dealershipTo make it worse, they kept blaming the problem on my sonYes he made a mistake on his application, but if the salesman or even the finance man had checked the application they should have seen the mistake before it was too late to fix it and they had to start all overWhat's the point of having a salesman and finance person if that isn't their jobWe could just make car dealerships self servePick out a car, take the tag off of it, run it and an application through an electronic system to get approved, and a vending machine spits out the keysThat would have been better than the treatment my son experienced at this dealershipEven when I talked to the manager, he said there was nothing he could doNOTHING HE COULD DO? REALLY? How about an apology for our trouble and inconvenience for startersThen a few extra perks to make us happy like a gas gift card and/or some free car wash couponsI've sold cars and know salesmen have access to these thingsThis took the first two days to work throughThen the third day they wouldn't accept my check for the down payment because it didn't have my son's name on it even though I made the check out to him and the dealershipThat would have been fine if they had told us that up front so we could have spent the last two days correcting thatInstead they wait until 8:pm on the third day to tell us that was a problemKeep in mind we are sharing a car and both trying to work days when banks are openLuckily I stayed in Greenwood that evening because my son ended up having to have a ride home that nightWe spent that night upset and trying to figure out how to get everyone to work and get to the bank to get cash since that seemed to be the only form of payment they would acceptOn the fourth day, we take cash and go back to the dealership where they make him wait for hours AGAIN and when he goes to drive off in the car he discovers that they didn't even fill the gas tank like they said they wouldIt was on a quarter of tank and it wasn't like they didn't have FOUR DAYS to fill it upWhen he asked them about it, they told him there was nothing they could do because they were closing and he would have to call about it tomorrowSERIOUSLY?!! After you jerked him around for four days you want him to come back for a tank of gasYou should be giving him at least three tanks full after all that poor customer service just to make up for the fact that you jerked him around for that longRemember after all the people that we talked to there, not one of them even offered and apology for our inconvenienceThey all acted like it was our privilege to be giving them out moneyI've bought a lot of cars in my life, and I have never had such a bad experience before
