Review: I had booked a limo for my 10 year anniversary with Cheaplimo.com. They quoted me a price of $495 for pick up and drop off. This was a surprise gift for my husband. [redacted] the owner called me and I wanted to put the full amount on my credit card but he said he can't do that. I can only put $50 deposit on my credit card and have to pay the rest in CASH to the driver. I was a little suspicious when he said that but reserved with him anyway. The price included beer, and a bottle of champagne which I thought was reasonable. When the limo picked us up on 30th of May I was not only shocked of the condition of the limo on the outside but also so embarrassed. The limo was hit on both side and the back also. It was a little rusty so they hit was not recent. He asked for the remainder of the money to be paid before he let us into the limo. He could not open the door to the limo and had to go to the other side and open the door from the inside. He then stated he had no room in the trunk for our luggage so we had to put luggage inside with us. Upon entering the limo I was again mortified by the condition of this limo. The seats were torn, the back window was shattered and held together by the tint on the window, the inside lights only a little less than half worked! The a/c didn't work well and driver told us it will work once the vehicle takes off (we knew he was lying). Needless to day we had a very warm ride into the city. The windows were not working and we were told only he can control them. The radio didn't work very well! The limo was in horrible condition inside and out!!!!! We went to open the bottle of champagne and the top was rusty so we then realized that it was a very old bottle of cheap champagne. The ice in the buckets were completely melted due to the heat inside the limo. Once we got to the city he dropped us off 2 1/2 blocks from our hotel stating that the road was blocked off. We then found out he didn't have a permit to go any further.. Shady!!Desired Settlement: I feel that what we were charged was very wrong. The condition of the limo was not what we paid for. I feel that we should get some kind of reimbursement for this since I paid for a limo ride to be pleasant not a broken down, hot, torn limo that should not be on the road. I feel like they were booked up and got someone to use their limo to take us to NY. I can't dispute the charge since they only accepted cash and now I know why they didn't allow me to put the full amount on my credit card.
