May 28, 2016Dear ***,I am in receipt and have read the letter that ** *** wrote to your organizationFirst I want to clarify that the vehicle she purchased was an 88,mile year old *** *** that we had fully state inspected by *** *** *** *** *** in LancasterOn
vehicles with this many miles and this age range we offer a day or mile, which ever comes first, warranty on internally lubricated parts on the engine, drive axle and transmissionWe clearly state that upfront, at delivery and post it clearly on the windows of our vehiclesWe also recommend to our customers that they have their own independent mechanic inspect their vehicle prior to purchase.Never the less during the first days we did address problems with her purchase that fell outside items that are covered under our power train warranty in an effort to establish goodwill with our customerLet me be clear: We PAID to have items fixed on her *** that were not covered under our power train warranty within the day warrantyIn addition at time of purchase ** *** was offered a chance to purchase an extended warranty which may very well have covered the repair items that she has had to address on her own.We largely work with customers that have challenged credit and we work very hard to get them approvalsIn ** ***'s case we were able to obtain a finance approval through a credit union at a very competitive rate of just over 10% APRLast month we offered her the opportunity to TRY to get her approved AGAIN on another vehicle so that she could POSSIBLY trade her *** *** on something that she would be happier withWe were notable to get an approval at that time due to circumstances directly related to her deteriorating creditWe are not a bank, finance company or credit union and it is not our decision whether she qualifies for a loan so we were notable to trade her *** back in on another vehicle.I spoke directly with ** ***, for the first time, earlier this weekI did not "hang up on her" as she claimedI asked her several times to stop threatening me and my businessShe has been busy spreading falsehoods about us on Social media and to anyone who will listen to herI plainly told her that we had nothing to talk about as long as she continued to threaten more name calling and castigation of our good name.pride myself on trying to find solutions to problems for customers and we have tried to do so with ** ***Nothing we have done has been able to satisfy her to this pointWe are happy to try once again to obtain an approval for another vehicle in the future in order to trade ** *** out of her van IF her credit circumstances improve. It is always our intention to cooperate with your organization to resolve Consumer issues when there is anything we can doYou can reach me with any additional questions at ###-###-####If I am not available please leave a message with either Tony or Jessica.Very Truly Yours,Clayton B

---- Forwarded message ----------From: <[redacted]Date: Thu, Apr 13, 2017 at 1:08 PMSubject: ref id [redacted]To: [redacted],This letter is to clarify that the vehicle [redacted] originally wrote his letter to you was sold to another customer.  [redacted] agreed to negotiate pricing on another vehicle with us.  He subsequently purchased a vehicle from us.We are aware that he has sent a second complaint to your office regarding his experience with our company. I want to make clear that [redacted] was given several opportunities to not purchase the vehicle he took possession of but he decided not to take advantage of those opportunities.  I also want to make it clear that my wife Jessica personally went over all paper work at time of delivery with [redacted]. Price of course was fully disclosed and he agreed to take delivery of the vehicle.I hope that this clears up any confusion regarding our dealings to date with [redacted].  We genuinely hope to have a long and good relationship with him. Thanks,Clayton

I am rejecting this response because: they never gave me option to get an extended warranty on the van at all! they never gave me an option to take it to my mechanic they told me no!! this response back from him is a bunch of lies their just trying to cover they behinds they knew how many problems I was having with this van they even  offered me another vehicle and never gave it to me because of my credit!  I have all my recipes for all the repairs that were made for this van! I don't appreciate what they sold me so no I'm not happy with the response that he gave I was riped off by this company they sold me a lemon I had put 2500 I\just in repairs to this van and their are still repairs that need made! I paid 10000 for a vehicle that had a lot of problems cheap heaps knows what they sold me their own mechanic told me they were well aware of all the problems with this van before I bought it! none of their vehicles have prices on them every vehicle I looked at had a tpms light on even the one I bought from them their was a piece of electrical tape covering my tmps light this company needs a closer look at I'm not the only one who has had problems with them and their vehicles!
Regards,

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:i agree that I did purchase the car but only because I was so tired of the lies and story changing. If they sold the car we looked at then they lied. We arrived to purchase they car as arraigned when they claimed they need a more current pay stub from [redacted]. They told us that they would hold the car until the following Friday so she would receive that stub. So if they sold the car they broke their promise to hold the car.jessica called me on phone after we provided the payroll stub to change things up that they now couldn't give us the loan if [redacted] was on the loan after telling us for the past two attempts it was fine with her on loan. On the phone she told me the next lie. She said with taking [redacted] off the loan she could reduce the payment $100.00 a month. That sounded great. She also said she would help us with getting [redacted] credit score up. That was all great so I told her to move forward.so we arrived to purchase the car and they never told us they sold our car that was on hold till Friday and giving us a more expensive car. I think that is wrong. Next the $100.00 a month saving over the phone really was $10.00 a month. Lost a zero someplace? Another lie. Next the cost of car went from 13,000 to 15,000 and the term of the loan was 54 months up to 66 months. I never heard that over the phone call.ithe end I paid $2,000 more for a car, I paid $3,000 more in payments when promised $100.00 a month reduction and nothing was ever said about how they were going to help [redacted] improve her credit. Bait and switch in many ways. I bought the car, I could have walked away but then I would have crushed my girlfriends heart. I run an 8 million dollar company, I have a 4 year degree from penn state and just because my divorce wrecked my credit does not make me not understand business.they told us lies and I already got up once and walked out the door because they were deceptive I found out it happened even when I gave them a second chance. Clayton took the time to explain how the deal worked. He told me to my face that he was going to give us the car and he would not make much if anything just to make us happy and when we were ready to take that deal the paperwork was no longer enough. We got what they asked for and his promise went out the window. iwould really like for Jessica to tell me that she never told me about the $100.00 reduction. I would like for her to tell me she did not promise to help [redacted] in another way to improve her credit. All they did was place a strain on [redacted] to come up with $399.99 a month payment that I am sure I will have to cover and take a picture with another happy customer but I was missing. Because I threw up my hands and signed the paperwork does not make all I said a lie. Why would I pursue this if I was wrong. One of us is a lier and I can tell you Its not me. Pull the folder and look at the old offers you laid in front of us and prove me wrong....Regards,[redacted]
