Review: I purchased a use transmission on in about 11/**/15 with a 30 days warranty, transmission was Install by a professional mechanic, mechanic took vehicle for road test and notice that the transmission wasn't shifting so I call Cheapy and he neglected my reason to call and told me that my mechanic was an it and didn't know what he was doing and that the transmission need it to be program so I when to Nissan on [redacted] and they said that the transmission doesn't need to be program and diagnosed code [redacted] and code [redacted] usually shows when transmission is about to go,so I call Cheapy from the Nissan Dealer so that Joseph from Nissan could explain to Cheapy what the out come of diagnoses was, Cheapy just didn't want to hear what Nissan had to say about the bad transmission and so Ceapy ask me to drive the truck so that he could program the transmission or to drop transmission and bring over, vehicle not drive able,so on and about 12/**/15 I call Cheapy to let him know that all I want is another transmission but he refuse and his final words were do what ever want,so now I have to pay the mechanic $1500 plus $128.40 for diagnose and $1957.50 that I pay for transmission plus leagal fees, my question is if Cheapy wants me to bring transmission now to program why didn't he program it before he sold it to me, at this point I will ask my lawyer to move forward if Revdex.com can't help me.Sincerely: [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my Money back plus other fees, I can't afford to get another bad transmission from Cheapy I understand that the policy says no refund credit only but this gentlemen has been very rude anddoesn't care about who is going to hurt next.

Review: I went in to Cheapy Auto Parts on Saturday, 3/**/16 to purchase a transmission for my 2006 Honda Pilot. I was advised by the owner that he had one that was in good condition, taken from another Honda Pilot that had been in a crash that only caused damage to the body of the car, not the parts. He did not have the physical part at the store and said it would be delivered from another location. He asked for a deposit to secure the part for me at which time I gave him $100. He set up delivery for the following Tuesday. An elderly gentlemen arrived at my home the evening of and could barely lift the part to put it in the back of my vehicle. I assisted, injuring my arm. The transmission stayed securely locked in my vehicle until I had it towed to my mechanic with the part still in the back. The same day I had it towed to my mechanic, he called me stating that the transmission was missing a crucial piece and without this piece, he would not be able to install it. The part was useless. Cheapy Auto Parts was already closed when I was notified, so I called the next day and spoke to an employee who stated that I should bring the transmission back so they can see what they can do about it. I arrived at Cheapy Auto Parts the day after the phone call just before 5pm and met an employee there who did not want to do anything to help me because he said that the boss was not there, he had already left for the day. I asked him to call his boss which he did. I spoke to the owner who then told me to come back the following day, that he needed to see the transmission. I went back the following day for the owner to see the faulty part that he sold me and he refused to resolve this issue. He asked me to bring in my original transmission (the one that I was replacing) so that he could remove the piece from that one and put it on the one that I bought from him. I refused. The transmission that I bought from him should have been fully operational. He did not want to give me another one in working condition or refund me.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund. I paid $800 for a transmission that I could not use. I had to buy another transmission, costing me another $750. I could not wait to resolve this issue because my car was already at the shop in the midst of being repaired. I could not leave it there because my mechanic had other customers whose cars he needed to deal with and mine was in the way disrupting his flow of business. I had no choice but to buy another transmission so I could remove my car. I want my money back.
