I signed up for their day trial 9/20/I cancelled on 9/21/Their records are not up to date! They didn't even have my current address which I have been residing for the last years! I have been legally married for years and no record of that! They are a scam and rip offToday 9/26/I woke up to a charge of $from themI called to ask why since I cancelled days ago and they even sent me an email stating my account was cancelledThe man said they had no record of me calling to cancel but he would get my refund approved and cancel my already cancelled account! I now have to wait 3-business days for my refund, if I even get one, and monitor my bank account for their sneaky monthly charges

Did the $lookup, never received the information that was requested, then got billed for one months service without noticeWas emailed that my 'subscription renewed'Called in to request a refund, was only going to get a partial refund, then provided my information to the lady again (broken english) and she then spoke to a supervisor who said I would be getting a full refund and cancellation within 3-dayswe will see how that goes

I purchased a service from Check People to find a few family members and it was for a trial time. I didn't call in time to cancel and I do understand that once the time was up, I agreed to pay the monthly fee, so CP received the payment on March 19th which would cover until April 19th. I called on March 24th to cancel after they already received payment and was told that I would not be able to use the service until April 19th. Even if I don't use the service, I believe I should be able to use the service for the month. This is robbery.

This company basically stole $45.00 from my account after I closed my account before the trial period, an is now refusing to reimburse me stating they see no such charge. Even though it is on my statement an my bank rep also phoned in on a 3 way call an told them they did take the money. They now refuse to call me back.. or give me any communication about the matter so I am having to file a forms in order to retrieve my money back from the credit card company.. all because they wanna be thieves. DONT USE THIS SITE!!

When I try to signed up there was a message saying that a problem occurred. I didn't get any service. And two weeks later I find out that I been charged for the trial and a month!! I tried to get at least one back ground or report from one person and I wasn't able to get it, but yes once more they ask for more than $2.00 to download the repot!! Do NOT EVER TRY CHECKPEOPLE.COM IS A SCAM!!!

These company is a big SCAM, I tried to look up a phone number and nothing came up, the site say "$1.00 trial" and now my card has four different charges, two of them "International fees" stay away from them
